In this holiday rental, you are close to all the major tourist sites of the Périgord while enjoying a particularly calme and peaceful setting, as the house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac. It is semi-detached to the owners’ home, but you will enjoy complete privacy during your stay. This very friendly elderly couple welcomes you with a bottle of wine from their personal cellar upon arrival!
Everything is prepared to welcome you like in a hotel: beds are made, bath towels are provided, and the kitchen is fully equipped with a toaster, coffee maker, kettle, stove, dishwasher, and food processor. There is even a pool table waiting for you in the living room.
On the two charming terraces, you can enjoy your meals in the sun or in the shade of the pergola (photos taken in winter). The rental is surrounded by a large 3-hectare garden with a view over the valley. You are only a few minutes away from the nearest village and shops.
For a swim in a pool, you can go to Villefranche-du-Périgord (10 km). This village is also worth a visit, with its charming town center and market square where you can taste local products. For natural swimming, you can also visit Lake Cazals (10 km).
Then explore the nearby medieval villages such as Monpazier (16 km), Belvès (17 km), visit the castles of Bonaguil (22 km), Biron (22 km), or Beynac-et-Cazenac (28 km), and many more. You are in the Périgord, where history-filled stone architecture is everywhere!

Der Besitzer des Hauses empfing uns sehr herzlich. Es gab eine schöne Überraschung für uns und die Betten waren schön gemacht. Die Unterkunft ist gut, könnte aber etwas besser gereinigt werden. Außerdem wurden sofort neue Sonnenliegen mit neuen Kissen gekauft, da diese nicht vorhanden waren und das Partyzelt für uns aufgebaut wurde. Es wurde auch immer gefragt, ob alle Geräte einwandfrei funktionieren und ob noch etwas getan werden kann. In dieser Hinsicht ist der Service großartig. Sie sind nur geringfügig weniger frei, da die Eigentümer im Obergeschoss wohnen. Das Haus hat eine schöne Lage. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön und es gibt viele Wanderwege. Wenn Sie Blumen mögen, sind Sie in dieser Region genau richtig.

Schön gepflegtes Haus mit einem ordentlich gemachten Bett. Die Umgebung war sehr schön. Gute Basis zum Wandern. Um die Dordogne zu entdecken, sind Sie vielleicht nur ein bisschen weit von einigen Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt. Netter Besitzer, der, obwohl er nur Französisch sprach, uns etwas erklären wollte.
