I stayed at St Andrews House while visiting Preston for a medical appointment and enjoyed a quiet, relaxing evening and lovely breakfast at the hotel.

Booked double room very compact, nicely refurbished and looking clean. Would have preferred a room where there was a bit more space and the windows were far more accessible as so high up therefore no view and personally made me feel quite claustrophobic,also because room small and although there was a chair there was no room to move it from the position in which it was 'crammed' . Also I would have preferred fresher looking and smelling bed linen and towels, didn't mind that they were rough towels but they didn't look or smell freshly laundered.
