Nestled into a picturesque tropical setting where garden and mountain views abound, Pohaku Villa has stylish decor with unique living areas. Earthy flagstone tile, vaulted wood beam ceilings, and warm neutral tones grace the living room. Plentiful windows reveal the beauty of indigenous foliage. Unwind on the living room sectional or stroll outside to the covered wrap-around lanai and take in the splendor of the outdoors.
The gorgeous, well-equipped kitchen at Pohaku Villa makes meal preparation a delight. Whether you're inspired to cook a gourmet feast or bring in takeout, you'll find everything you need. Enjoy your meals in the adjoining dining area or al fresco on the covered lanai.

Pohaku Villa has four comfortably appointed bedrooms — three upstairs and one downstairs — perfectly furnished for peaceful nights of sleep. All four bedrooms offer air conditioning, ceiling fans, televisions, and lots of windows. The primary bedroom is upstairs and features an en suite bathroom, a California king bed with Intellibed mattress, and a private lanai. The upstairs kids' room has three twin beds and a futon couch/bed. The upstairs guest room shares a hallway bath with the kids' room and features a California king luxury Stearns & Foster mattress. The downstairs guest bedroom also has a California king luxury Stearns & Foster mattress and an armchair.

You'll also find an open-air shower, an abundance of outdoor seating, a gas grill, and an expansive yard with fruit trees. Be sure to check the avocado, orange, and Meyer lemon trees to see if any fruit is ripe! When you're ready for a trip to the beach, Pohaku Villa is furnished with beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler. When you return, the lanai will provide a soothing place to rest.

As a bonus, Pohaku Villa has a classic video arcade game with hundreds of vintage games to try. Two full-size washers and dryers are also provided for your convenience. Pohaku Villa has an oversized driveway and a two-car attached garage. An electric-lock front door creates additional convenience during your stay.

There's plenty to see and do in and around this north shore Kauai vacation rental home. Pohaku Villa is located in Princeville next to a large open area with a park, and within walking distance of shopping and dining, hula performances, lei making, and live entertainment nightly at Princeville Center. Nearby, you can also take the garden walk and chocolate tour at Princeville Botanical Gardens, kayak on the Wailua River, or try a horseback riding excursion at Princeville Ranch. This property does NOT have air conditioning in the living room or dining room. AC split systems are only in the bedrooms. Garage is NOT available. Parking is available on the driveway only.

This property has surveillance cameras pointing to the exterior of the home for security purposes.

Please be advised that pool heat is NOT included in the rental rate. If you are interested in heating the pool, kindly contact us for more details regarding our pool heat policy. Also note that not all pools on Kauai have the option for heating. Please do NOT assume that pools are automatically heated for guests. Pool heat requests are subject to an additional daily charge and must be requested two weeks prior to arrival.

Please note, mandatory mid-stay cleaning is required for stays of 10+ nights. For stays of over 21 nights, two mid-stay cleanings are required. Any mandatory mid-stay cleaning charges will be included in your reservation quote based on your length of stay. Please contact management for more information if needed.

Note About Seasonal Gnats

We want to ensure guests are aware that during the winter months in Hawaii, gnats are naturally more prevalent due to the tropical climate. These tiny insects are attracted to light and are especially common in lush, green areas like ours. While we take every measure to maintain the property, their presence is a natural part of the environment and beyond our control.

To minimize their impact during your stay:

Keep doors and windows closed as much as possible.
Ensure screens are securely in place. Please note, however, that some gnats are so small they may get through even the finest mesh screens.
