We spent our 30th wedding anniversary the first week of December 2025. The hotel is perfect for several reasons. The staff is very cheerful and always happy to help, the rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The pelican bar happy hour is fantastic and the lobster fest was superb. The free chairs and umbrellas on the beach are a fantastic bonus. We are going back next year same time and we can’t wait to stay at Royal West.

Overall, this is a very nice resort but rooms could use a renovation and the facility was understaffed. We stayed in two connecting rooms (a studio and one bedroom). The furniture was pretty run down and outdated. But the rooms were clean and spacious. Very nice view of the ocean from our balcony. The beach was beautiful. It's a perfect spot on Grace Bay. It's walking distance (or bike) to the main restaurant/shops area. The pool is small and set back from the beach so not many people were using it. The staff were fine but not overly friendly.

We were lucky to get an upgrade to the oceanfront room and it did not disappoint!! It had the best views of the beach. Our room was large, spacious and we had good housekeeping of the large space. The Pelican Bay restaurant was one of the better restaurants in the area. We kept coming back to eat there when we were disappointed in other restaurants. The resort put on an amazing and extensive fireworks display for New Year’s Eve which was really impressive. We were lucky to have great views from our balcony. Overall I highly recommend Royal West Indies, they have a beautiful property, wonderfully curated grounds, an impeccable beach front, spacious, clean and well cared for rooms and a great bar/restaurant. We had the most relaxing vacation we could have had!!

The balcony had a roof and a view of the sea. There was a screen on the balcony door so you could sleep without AC. The staff on the beach was wonderful. The staff in the office differed in politeness and readiness to help: some people were great, the others were not. The Clubmed next door was often noisy. The room overall did not match the high price we paid.

Clean room, good staff and excellent location. The beach access is superb, the beach itself is stunning and the facilities of beach towels and lounges is also great. The kitchenette with the microwave and dishware was also super helpful.

Everyone were so nice, friendly and went over and above to make our trip the best! We’ll definitely be staying here again! The rooms, grounds and pools were very clean. The beach was fabulous! Plenty of loungers and umbrellas for all! It was quiet and great for adults!! Not really a resort for kids. Overall, outstanding!
