We had a nice stay at Royal West Indies Resort. Every staff member we interacted with was amazing — genuinely kind, helpful, and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. There were a couple of things that could be improved. The pool area felt a little too quiet; some light music during the day would really help bring the space to life. It also would have been great to have a hot tub available in the family pool area. We were also surprised that the happy hour special didn’t apply to non-alcoholic drinks. We ordered strawberry daiquiris and piña coladas for our kids while getting our own drinks, and the children’s drinks ended up costing more because they weren’t included in happy hour. The concerning part, though, was that my 12-year-old’s “virgin” piña colada was accidentally made with rum — even though the receipt listed it as non-alcoholic. She told me it tasted funny, and one sip confirmed why. Thankfully we caught it right away. On a positive note, the beach area was absolutely beautiful. The resort had plenty of chairs and umbrellas set up, and it was such a relaxing place to spend the day. Overall, the staff and beach were wonderful. With a few improvements to the pool experience and more attention at the bar, this stay could easily have been perfect.

All units are owned by condo owners and rented for the length of your stay. All exterior and interior amenities are updated, prestine and well maintained. Rooms are clean and housekeeping provides daily room refreshes. The grounds are well-kept and tropical vegetation is abundant and manicured. I can't say enough positive things about the long-term staff and the exceptional service they ALL provide! RWI Resort is not your typical palatial hi-rise hotel, but more like a high-end boutique 3 story resort with lots of character and charm. Kitchen amenities are more than adequate for preparing meals and quick lunches. Grocery store, downtown and resraurants are all a brief bike ride or walk (concrete sidewalks make the journey nice). The bar/ restaurant is friendly offering great half-price drinks during happy hour from 7:00 PM- 9:00 PM daily, and some menu specials. The beach and water are unbelievably awesome!!!! Beach loungers, umbrellas and towels are available for guests. This is a very clean and safe Caribbean island location to visit!!!! I NEVER felt unsafe on TCI. Without reservation I would highly recommend RWI Resort directly on Grace Bay Beach!

Our room was well-furnished, clean, comfortable, and quiet, as usual. The Pelican Bay restaurant has a great menu and their happy hour is the best in the T&C. The staff is extraordinary, and they will go above and beyond to make everything just as it should be.

The balcony offered a superior view. The room was clean, they cleaned it every day, which made me have peace of mind. The only thing I didn't like was how far it was from stores. I literally had to walk 15 minutes in hot & humid weather to get food, coffee, etc. So, I didn't like that part. The Pelican Bay restaurant was BEYOND expensive. Everything was expensive. The ppl in T&C are money-driven and always have their hand out whenever you need ANYTHING. As for the island itself, it was relaxing, but only at the beach. When you left the beach, it was patchy and not beautiful.

This is the true diamond of the island. The staff is incredible and make you feel like you are a valued part of the Royal West Indies family. Rooms are clean, grounds are immaculate, and the atmosphere calm and relaxing. We were there during Hurricane Melissa. The emergency preparedness and constant updates were on point. It really made it a non-event and there was no need to worry or hide in your room. This was our second trip to Royals West Indie and we are already planning our return next year. We have done seven-day and nine-day stays during the off season. You really have the beach to yourself and it is very affordable. Our next stay will be 14 days. You just cant get enough of the 5 star treatment from everyone at Royal West indies.

Staff was nice, food fine. Room very old and when we asked for some items to be replaced (extremely uncomfortable old pillows) they said that each room is privately owned and that's why you are stuck with whatever matrass or pillows are in the room. Certainly not what you would expect in the 4 star property. Water sports are not well supported (no safe boat, limited service, hard to get a sailboat because they are short on staff). Bikes have to be returned within 2 hours so you cannot really explore the vicinity or bike to a cafe... it all felt like unnecessary limitations, especially off season with only a few guests at the property. People are friendly though and the weather was pretty nice. Pool area is very nice too.
