Pros: excellent wifi, EXTREMELY clean rooms (one side of the property is newer, that’s where we stayed, and it was all pristine), lovely staff. Cons: the beach is a very small man made area over rock, so if you are thinking you’ll go for long walks along the coastline, that’s not happening here. That being said, they had breakers for their waves so prob a better spot than most for young kids. VIP: the “privileged pool” is quite small, and was claimed basically by all the families, it kind of wound up as a kids pool. The “privileged” section of the beach was not the nicest area, with the worst beach loungers, and did not have any staff attending. I wouldn’t say that upgrading to privileged made any real difference, we sat on the nicer part of the beach that was for regular attendees, and swam at the quietest pool. The hotel exists in a little gated community, so you can walk and find restaurants that are “off resort” but still within the compound. Excellent seafood. It was a lovely week away and no real complaints, but I also know - given all the options out there - I wouldn’t book this place again just because of the lack of real beach setup.

The resort was very accommodating and the workers were very friendly and helpful. Ivan especially went out of his way to help us. I felt very safe as this resort was in a gated community where we could go out and do some shopping and see the marina. The beach was nice for swimming and snorkeling. My only complaint was the room doors where very heavy and when they closed the made a very loud bang that kept us up at night from the guest who where coming in late. The rooms where very nice and clean.

Loiked that everything was close together and easy to navigate on site. What I didn't like was how the Ala carts needed to be booked, 1 staff in particular had said we were promised a few things and the fact that everyone has a different colour band and some are exclusive to some and not to others. My wife got a drink one day from a bar and the next day she was not allowed.

Overall, I would give this resort an 8/10. We booked not privilege, but our room was still reasonably sized with a walk in shower and a mini-fridge. It was also VERY clean. The beach had clear water, and I personally feel like there was enough beach to swim in. It was rocky but we had no issues wearing water shoes! The only downfall was the restaurant bookings. The 2 buffets were open but for the other restaurants, you have to book at 8am. If you do not book by 8:02, they are all full. Otherwise, the food there was delicious!

The staff are wonderful. Buffet wasn't terrible but ala cart and restaurants are excellent. Good shopping a 5 minute walk from resort.

2nd time here, brought the family and we all had a great time. Weather could’ve been better but the resort and staff were top notch! The resort is conveniently located between Tulum and Playa del Carmen. Cancun would be an additional 40 minutes from Playa del Carmen. Also have a Chedraui and a movie theater right across the way from the property. All around convenient as hell!!!

I like the hospitality service, all staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms need to be updated not enough plug-ins as needed lots of broken plugs

Look somewhere else for your money

Could not get into restaurants any of the days. Asked to pay more to upgrade, had to wait 3 days, and I stayed for 4 days. Food was not good, not hot, not flavourful. All the chairs were reserved before 8am

I absolutely love this place. The only downfall is that they don’t have a real beach, but the rest is beautiful and the staff is wonderful and there’s enough food options to keep everybody happy.

The resort is verybaccomodating to allergies. The disabled stalls are not quite large enough but the walkways and ramps were quite good. I like being able to use both resorts but the buffet at this resort has more options. Food was always fresh and tasty!
