The Oceanview two-bedroom with balcony vacation suite at Torre Mar Galapagos Boutique Suites is one of our most popular holiday suites. The first bedroom is fitted with a King Bed, and the second bedroom is fitted with two double beds. Each bedroom has a walkout to the private balcony. The suite offers a living area and kitchen to give our guests the comforts of home. This unit is located on the fourth level, offers a private balcony with wonderful views, and has easy access to the ocean view social terrace.

Comfortable stay for a family of 4 with the 2 bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen although we did not use much. Easy walk to the port for ferries and tours. Several dining options with 10 min walk. 4 th floor stay was nice with lots of natural breeze

It can be a little intimidating coming to a new country so it was a relief that our hosts were bilingual and extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions.
We were in the Galápagos for 10 days and had done no pre planning. No worries there because Donna got right to work setting up wonderful excursions to remote islands and even had snorkeling gear to lone to us. We walked everywhere but could have gotten one of the plentiful taxis for only $1.50 per ride. The food in Santa Cruz was so delicious and reasonably priced.
Our two bedroom suite was very clean and comfortable. I loved all of John’s wildlife photography on the walls. The floors are thick square tiles. Air conditioning in every room with remotes that cool the space in minutes. Huge shower with good water pressure. We made eggs in our kitchen but ate most dinners out. The Ceviche! It’s a fish lovers paradise. I recommend taking boat excursions to remote islands with a naturalist who also takes you on a guided snorkel. John, who is also a naturalist, took us on our first excursion. So amazing! If you are reading my post I really hope you will decide to give this magical place a try. I sure hope to return one day!

A perfect home base for exploring
Our Torre Mar apartment was a perfect base for our family of four to explore Santa Cruz with day trips to other islands. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well appointed, with everything we needed for making simple dinners at home . All the basics are there - kitchen utensils, towels for the bathroom and beach, even a tote bag for the wonderful farmers market nearby on Saturdays. The social terrace was lovely for the delicious morning breakfasts and coffee as well as great for going out to get some air in the evening.
We really enjoyed the location of this property as well. It was an easy walk to downtown and the waterfront. 5-10 minutes gets you to many, many restaurants and the dock where you leave for boat trips, catch water taxis, or just walk out at night to see sharks in the lights. We were also delighted to be within a block of a wonderful little bakery (I'm still missing the warm, morning bread with chocolate) and an evening street market where we found huge, fresh empanadas for a dollar.
John and Donna were wonderful hosts who helped us book a driver to pick us up at the airport, checked us in with lots of helpful tips, booked two amazing day trips for us, and hurried right upstairs with pharmacy/medicine advice when my husband wasn't feeling well one day.
All in all, this was a perfect apartment for a comfortable, convenient week on Santa Cruz. Highly recommended!

Great location for us. Had everything we needed.
Our hosts, John and Donna were very helpful. They arranged transportation for us to and from the airport and gave us many suggestions on restaurants and things to do. Offered to help us with anything we needed. We had a very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend and hope we can return one day.

Count Not Have Been Happier
We loved the apartment. The location was perfect and the apartment was beautiful. Donna could not have been more helpful. The rooftop deck is fabulous. We made dinner on the grill one night and ate up there. Donna made all the arrangements for our arrival and departure from the airport which certainly simplified things. Santa Cruz is not your typical "grab a cab at the airport" arrival. Everything you need is very close.

Good location, safe, spacious and clean
Your bi-lingual hosts live on site and are extremely knowledgeable about the entire area. They can arrange day trips anywhere you want to go and can suggest things you might not have thought of in advance.
The apartment is safe, clean, spacious and comfortable. The separate AC units mean that one can choose the temperature. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. The social patio is ideal for relaxing with an ocean view. There is no elevator, but the owners gladly assist with luggage. The apartment is close to a good bakery and a fruit and vegetable market and just a short distance away from the ocean.
We highly recommend this property.

A perfect home base on Santa Cruz!
My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed four nights at the Torre Mar in late May of 2016. Donna and John were terrific from the first contact through finding us the best way back to the Baltra airport. They even arranged for our driver to stop at some of the attractions in the highlands on our way into Puerto Ayora! We found everything to be as advertised. We loved the rooftop terrace for grilling and dining on fresh local seafood or getting to socialize with some of the other guests in the evenings. The views were fantastic! We loved the central, neighborhood location. It was a short walk to Charles Darwin Avenue, a bakery, the Saturday market, the popular outdoor "restaurant street", and the head of the trail to Tortuga Bay! The truck-taxis are certainly abundant, but we enjoyed walking. The beds were very comfortable, and having separate remote controlled air conditioning for each bedroom was a definite plus. For two families with children, both second floor apartments would be a nice setup. We would definitely go back!

The apartment was lovely, comfortable and clean. It was within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the docks. There were small convenience stores very close. Donna was very helpful in providing information both before the trip and when we arrived. We have no complaints and would certainly recommend it for people staying on the island.
