The staff and food at this resort were fantastic. The rooms were spacious and so clean. Very impressed with the AC in our rooms and around the resort. There was plenty to do and never felt crowded in the pools. There was also plenty to do indoors if the weather was less than ideal. My son (3) and daughter (1) had a great time. The only thing our family struggled with was the times the food was available. The breakfast buffet closed at 11 and from 11am-12:30 there was no food options available so it was difficult to feed kids who get hungry quickly after breakfast. Dinner also only started at 6:00 which was a little late for a family with younger kids. For a family resort, the show times were also quite a bit later (9:00 pm). By the time the shows were done, and we were out it was 10:00 pm which was very late for young kids. I did want them to have that experience so we tried with my kids and the show was very well done and engaging but unfortunately could only try one due to the time. All in all, had a great time on our vacation at Sensira. The kids had a blast and we also had a relaxing time!

Fantastic vacation resort for a family of 4. Our top 3 positives: 1. The Staff - there wasn't a single team member that didn't make us feel like we were royalty at all times. Asking about dietary restrictions, acknowledging our children, smiling, laughing, playing games, etc. The people of Sensira made this a pleasurable experience. Specific shoutouts to Diego-Raul-Alejandro-Carlos-Jesus Brian-Oliver-Beatriz you each left a positive impression on our whole family. 2. Day Amenities - preteen/teen paradise with rooftop minigolf, trampoline park, zipline, movie theatre, cornhole, bingo, video game loft, billiards, foosball, basketball, volleyball, rock climbing wall. Regardless of the condition of the amenity, look past that. Enjoy it for what it is... FUN. Make memories and take advantage of the FREE FUN. 3. Food - Steakhouse was my favorite, I like country music, meat and rum... they had me at hello. Then mechanical bull in the centre was a cool add. We normally eat around 6pm at home so we aimed to be there just before 6pm each night, NEVER an issue getting a table. The only time we saw lineups were for those coming in at 6:45-7:30pm. Poolside service takes a few minutes to arrive so order early. Those fish tacos at 1:00pm in the afternoon poolside... SO GOOD. Our 3 suggestions for management (because they're not negatives): 1. More poolside seating 2. Talk to mother Earth about dumping so much seaweed on your beach 3. Poolside hair braiding (our daughter really wanted this)

For those like me who get scared by the bad reviews, don’t listen to them lol. This was an amazing vacation for our family- the resort is very family oriented and lots of kids activities. Our best tips: order lunch from the poolside grill right at 11:30 (otherwise the wait is about an hour. Not a complaint, just learned from hangry kids), get chairs closest to the beach side at the main pool as it sees sun all day, the tea house cafe opens at 6AM which was a god send for parents with very early risers. My only complaint was the depth of the kid pool/water park. It’s about 2.5 ft in the deepest part which was too deep for my 1 year old to just roam and splash around. But that’s about it!! Shout out to Migue for his zip lining expertise!

I stayed at [Hotel Name], and my group’s experience was terrible. The hotel was unhygienic, the rooms were unbearably hot and dirty, and the food made us sick with diarrhea. We had to leave early due to these conditions. Despite being assured by management that only the first night would be charged and a refund would be processed for the remaining nights, no refund has been issued. The management has failed to uphold their promise, and I feel misled. Expedia also confirmed this and never happened. stay away from this!

The property was incredible for families with kids. Our little ones loved the kids pool, trampoline area, beach option, buffet meals, zipline, movies and games. Staff was all wonderful, helpful, and kind. Would definitely recommend to those with small kids who want to keep them entertained and desire an all-inclusive atmosphere.

Pros: The cabanas are free, and the facilities are clean. The kids' club is great, and Kayla (with short hair) was especially friendly, making the kids happy. Cons: The ocean water wasn’t very clear. The buffet food was bland and repetitive. The staff and concierge were unhelpful.

We liked all the service from the staff , everyone was very friendly and quick . The steak house was the best , great drinks and the service was top notch. The kids had a great time on the zip line and in the trampoline area.

The experience was amazing! It’s the first time I see all inclusive that is actually all inclusive including the kids club which is amazing! Etzel in the kids club is wonderful my kids love her even they were there for just one hour. The best part is there is no wrist bands so no matter what type of room you have, everyone is treated the same. But even better there are not Time Share sale representatives! Very clean place and they cleaned our room every day without us asking them. They have a buffet which food is good everything excel for the sushi, they need to improve a lot with the Japanese food but other than that they have a nice variety of dishes every day. They have 4 different restaurants one is adults only, omg just try them Spectacular! Food is nothing but great and service is amazing. They all have a theme. The only thing you pay extra for is room service which is $10, not bad at all. And of course activities outside the hotel and the spa are things not included obviously. If you can, enjoy the spa, better than any other I have been before. Estefany and Yesi took care of me and their service went above and beyond. Yesi is amazing! The best massage I have ever had came from her, very professional and sweet. Staff is more than recommended, the guys by the pool and restaurant are so pleasant and professional, always asking what else they can do for you! Going above and beyond Ivan Ceron nothing but great, very nice, did everything on his hands to make us feel welcomed

The property was dated and needs proper renovations for the price being charged. Seems like a lot of patch work has been done. There were lizards in my room coming in from a broken window (no one ever came to fix). The resort informed me that they were not dangerous! I replied so I still don't want them in my room! When it rained, the walkways flooded. Property needs some TLC. The staff was AMAZING. I had the Ruby Suite, that came with a butler. and everyone was amazing.

Wonderful staff! We loved our room. Traveled with another couple and they accommodated adjoining rooms for us. So much for the kiddos to do. We enjoyed all food/drinks. Buffet was open for all 3 meals. Service was great for buffet and in restaurants, not slow. The steak house was our favorite. We didn't plan on utilizing the kid's "daycare", but my 9-year-old saw it and really wanted to go. So much to do in there! And since parents aren't allowed, we signed her up. We had her bring her iPad so she could communicate with us and let us know when she wanted to be done. The staff would also be able to call you if needed. I would not return to this resort, only for the condition of the ocean, which is out of the resort's control. The ocean is full of sea grass and not clear. No one really went in it. We love to snorkel and be in the ocean so that was a downer for us. If you aren't an ocean go-er, then this would not matter for you. The resort itself really is wonderful and 5 star all the way in every aspect! There is a separate adult only side with a pool and hot tub. The pools were cold, but we did not have good weather. That did not stop my child from swimming though! The hot tub was hit or miss. Sometimes it was hot, other times it was just warm. The night entertainment was enjoyable. They have a coffee shop that serves a variety of specialty coffees, sandwiches, fruit, yogurt and ice cream. We also really enjoyed that. We did a couple excursions right through the hotel.
