somewhat adequate

The property was nice it was the room we rented was not. Everything was broken. We tried the key and it wouldn't open door then we opened the front door and the whole edge/trim around the door came right off in our hands. The guest bathroom was leaking from toilet, the shower head was leaking, the light fixture broke off and we never even touched it. We called maintance at least 5 times to get things fixed.

Beautiful condo resort on a beautiful beach!

We had a great stay at Sonoran Sun. Check in was easy, just don’t forget to bring the card you booked with!!!! We didn’t opt for the maid service as we only stayed 3 nights. You can get extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags at the front desk. Our particular condo had dishes, condiments, a coffee maker, and ice cube trays. There was clean bedding and towels. There was laundry soap provided for the washer and dryer. Our only complaint was the shower in the guest bath had no water pressure and hardly any water coming out so we all used the master shower. Our kids (11 & 9) slept comfortably on the pull out sofa. The condo is close to the elevators to get to the pool/beach. The only complaint about that is the access to get to the beach. Make sure you do your squats before you go cause you have to go ip and down and VERY steep, sandy hill to get to the beach. We are glad we did not bring our other family members to require the use of a walker because they would not have been able to make it down to the beach. :( otherwise there were cabanas at the beach and plenty of chairs by the pool! The pool bar has AMAZING food!! Tacos, quesadillas, etc. All the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was less than desirable…we would highly recommend the short walk on the beach to Diego’s tiki bar. We ate dinner there twice!! Hope this helps!! Enjoy your stay! 😄

Hidden charges

The room was gorgeous and we enjoyed our stay but upon arrival they hit us up with a substantial security deposit that was never in any of our paperwork or quoted prices. I’m totally fine with her being a deposit but I just think they need to let you know before you arrive at the property.
