The food is bad, the service is bad, to go to the beach you have to take a shuttle provided by the hotel and it only comes every 25 minutes, the rooms are very run down and also have cockroaches and they discriminate against people who are Latino, and when it rains water gets into the rooms.

Room was moldy! Staff was loud before 8am leaf blowing and cleaning and talking in the hallway/outside. Food at the resort gave us food poisoning. They show pictures of the VIP areas of the resort but what you actually have access too and get as a room is worse. Should have listened to all the other reviews.

Our room door wouldn’t stay closed , I brung the attention to the front they had maintenance in my room for 2 days trying to fix the door. My stay was for 2 days so I had my passport and all my expensive belongings on me. Very strange horrible experience, also the transportation to get around the hotel was awful every 25 mins a shuttle comes by but u would see people gettin picked up privately cus they sneaked the workers 5usd . It’s just a money grab hotel with bad etiquette might aswell say it’s not all inclusive and pay for shuttles so people can know to bribe the shuttle workers. But yea horrible experience I would get another resort next time Forreal look for a resort that’s not so big or a resort that’s not packed with 3 other resorts it’s a headache to figure out. Especially if your going for a weekend.

My stay at this resort was the worst vacation experience I’ve ever had. We dealt with multiple toilet backups, water leaking across the bathroom floor, and mold in the shower. After reporting the issues, the room phone was disconnected, and we were forced to move rooms several times. There were no elevators or bellhops, so we had to carry our luggage across the resort and up multiple flights of stairs. At one point, we were made to wait six hours in the sun because they wouldn’t let us back into our original room, and then told we had to wait an additional two hours because they “had to give the key to someone else first.” Many amenities advertised as available were closed, including the swim‑up bar, and several features were restricted unless you were VIP. The pool closed at 6 PM, most restaurants closed at 11, and there was nothing to do afterward. Staff repeatedly offered food, champagne, or cheese plates instead of addressing the actual problems, and even lied to Expedia about a “Do Not Disturb” sign to avoid responsibility. This resort was full of false advertising, poor service, and unsafe conditions. I would not recommend it to anyone.

The only reason this even gets 1 star is solely for the restaurant, buffet, golf car drivers, and bar staff. They were wonderful, but for the rest of the staff-front desk people, the room, accommodations, they way they run the al cart restaurants, cleanliness, beach, n overall feel it is a 0-1 star. I already wrote about the check in process and the nightmare that was, but once in the room there was no hot water, a drop for water pressure, and barley working air conditioning. The area we were in had a bad odor so sitting outside was unpleasant. Other than the people mentioned above, no one cared or wanted to help. I will never return and if anyone asks I will make sure they do not go to this hotel! Getting reservations for dinner was a pure joke. If you showed up after 9 am, after waiting in a huge line, nothing was available. However when you show up for dinner the restaurants were, at the most, 50% filled with guests. Everyone we went to, passed, or stopped by to checkout the menu was never filled more than 50%. The only way to make a reservation was to stand in that line and waste you morning only to hear all the reservations were take-and then again when you checked it out at dinner time the restaurants were barley full. It was just dumb! The beach was very stinky and filled with seaweed, even though hard workers worked all day trying to clear it, but the odor was the worst. The food was marginal at best. Was very disappointed by that also. Do not stay here!!!

Rooms are old , smells of old wet wood . TVs barely work , power went out atleast 5 times a day , They’re really not clear on the whole wristband situation as far as what you have access to and what you don’t , food is mediocre , just not a good experience overall

It’s almost impossible to get restaurant reservations at a decent time. The room was nice and clean but very damp and musty, there was black mold in the shower and on my last night past of the shower ceiling fell in! The pool where the Frost bar is needs better filtration it was always dirty with bird poop. I got very sick after eating a hamburger at the snack bar near the beach and I heard many other people had the same experience with food poisoning from that snack bar. They need to replace broken chairs around the main pool I think half of them are broken. The food at the buffet isn’t hot , in the morning there was rarely bacon or yogurt, and you had to ask for it most of the time and even then I wasn’t always available. The hash browns weren’t cooked properly they tasted freezer burnt. There should be a disclaimer on this hotels page that warns about the stairs and hills as there are many many stairs !

Booked two rooms.Checked in and spent at least thirty minutes walking around aimlessly looking for my room. (Resort room layout is somewhat confusing) Asked multiple staff members who were as confused as I was...finally found it. Room was at a sub level with a foul smelling open sewage line next to the entry door. Door was hard to open (screws missing) instant foul smell in the room and the floor was wet from a recent mop.Dim lighting.Stains on the curtains & spots on the bedding. Concrete looking repair in the tub.Realized instantly I wouldn't stay in this room. Back to guest services and my family member from room two happened to be there complaining about actual black mold in his room.Was told no other rooms were available, but offered to replace bedding and reclean rooms. Requested a refund and was told no refunds at first.Provided videos and some photos to staff who assured us a refund. Reserved two other rooms at a neighboring resort. Stayed there instead. Returned home to find no record of refund being processed.
