The good: — It’s centrally located in Puerto Plata and close to POP airport. — The bad: — the food is very hit or miss. If you are Dominican The ugly: —Many of the staff do not seem mindful of hospitality basics. Particularly I notice that many of the female staff are very short with women. — The toilet seat in the room does not fully cover the seat of the toilet. We had two rooms and both were like this. Because the toilet seat was too small for the toilet, you are sitting on the cold bare toilet when you use the bathroom. There may as well have been no toilet seat.

the rooms bathroom was not in good condition and the lighting in the room was very dingy. the facilities def need improvement and more staff they seem not as many for the amount of people at buffet. the food was great seasoning but the layout of buffet and lighting of the room did not make it appealing at all. Also the bars did not have real liquors very small selection of rum. We could have had an awesome experience if the beach had beach service instead of so many beach sellers.

I have been to many all inclusive’s but this had to be the worst one! From check in the customer service was horrible! Elisa at customer service? Bad attitude. The staff just was not what i’m normally used to. They were not friendly and not looking to help you. We got harassed by someone looking to give us a demo of their “elite club”. I don’t remember his name but he stopped us and said he needs it for commission. He did not let us leave until we gave him our info. We gave him the wrong contact number and the next day at breakfast he was waiting in front of the buffet entrance door and telling us to go to their meeting and calling us by our names. The food was so bad!! My boyfriend and his sister got stomach sick very bad the entire stay at the resort from the nasty food. The restaurants you need reservations for and we tried to book them early as soon as we checked in and they had none for our group! literally not one reservation so we had to always eat at the buffet. If you are not one of their elite members forget it! The rooms and resort in general are outdated and rotting and falling apart! The room lock was broken, tables at the buffet were broken and wobbly, the ceilings had cracks and falling and leaking. Our sink was falling down, when we put something on it rolled right off because the sink was uneven and they put a replacement holder instead of fixing it. Never would come back or recommend. Roberto was the only staff that worked hard and gave amazing service.

This isn't my first time at this hotel; previously, the service was excellent. This time, however, it was the complete opposite. Starting with Eliza, the person in charge of making a restaurant reservation, she was incredibly rude and had absolutely no desire to help us. Incredibly, the only person who made us feel welcome was Roberto, one of the waiters who works at the buffet. The rooms are run-down, and even the food quality isn't the same. Sadly, it wasn't a good experience. I don't recommend it.

La habitacion olia mal, las toallas estaban desgastadas y amarillas, no tenia actividades durante el dia, la musica que ponia casi no se escuchaba, dicen que hay casinos, pero.solo tienen 4 maquinas viejas y dos no funcionan, habia mucjos mosquitos. Durante la nohe estuvo lloviendo y habitacion se lleno de agua,. Lo.unico bueno fue la comida. Por lo.demas no vale el precio

The rooms were great. Lots of beach chairs. Christmas dinner was great. Foam pool party. 7 waterfalls trip. Coffee shop was great. If they could fix the mini putting and have putters instead of irons to putt with that would be great. Mexican restaurant was great

The elevator was not working so we had to carry our luggage upstairs. nothing functioned including the frig, no help; The main floor of building 12 where we stayed was wet and I slipped and fell and injured my right shoulder , my wife had to help me up as no one available saw a doctor there who informed me that I had to see the ship doctor ( we were going on a cruise) which cost me $445 US and my shoulder still pains and I've sought medical attention in Toronto - truly a bad experience

Stayed as a family of 8 with 2 people per room one room seemed very clean but one had a very strong uncomfortable molding piping smell 2 rooms only had a lamp as lighting not sure if it was set that way but pretty dim when getting ready loved the double shower heads very convenient when rushing to get ready only problem water went out to closet and wet luggage even having the small tower on floor was soaked other than that my stay was very good food was great in buffet area and beach area was not to fascinated with the oregano restaurant expected much better bar service was great staff very knowledgeable as as entertainment enjoyed the pool foam party

Found a roach in the room. Staff follows you until you sit for what it should have been 90 minutes to 3 hours and 30 minutes to sell you a vacation package with a premium of a minimum $50,000. We visited for 3 days, we wanted to enjoy every moment but we felt guilty if we didn't attend because the staff would not get paid, as per the staff.
