The room I paid for was "Ocean View". However, due to the large Palm trees, my view was so obstructed, I dont consider it "ocean view" I should of just paid less for a non ocean view. Nothing was offered to me in compensation. The dining was average at best, with little to know variety. The pool service and dining service workers, were all excellent and spot on, however. Lastly, the room we stayed in was so humid, it had a musty/ mildew smell that made all of our belongings, and clothing smell that way as well. Had to wash everything twice when I got home. I observed visible black mold in many areas. Great Location, but I cannot recommend.

We had a fantastic one week stay at the Buenaventura Grand Hotel & Great Moments - All Inclusive. The king size room we booked were small, with no real view, but the bed was comfortable and had everything we needed. We spent little time in there either way as we really enjoyed the beautiful pool area, beach and grounds. The staff were incredibly friendly. The pool service was outstanding and our drinks/snacks were always delivered with a smile. The Thursday evening fiesta was a treat! Delicious food, and incredible dancing, music and a set up that took a huge effort by staff. Overall, my husband and I, our son and his wife all enjoyed a wonderful stay. We loved the proximity to the Malecon and walkability into Puerto Vallarta.

This was a great property for a group get together we had 20 people and wanted a centrally located place that had easy access to downtown Puerto Vallarta while also having a place to group up and hang out. The staff were all wonderful and kind. Loved the direct access to the beach & hearing the waves all day - very beautiful. We enjoyed the pools and various bars. The dinner options were a bit difficult with the requirement to make reservations ... or use the buffet as the only walk in option. However, it gave the opportunity to considering exploring the city a bit more for dinner which was nice. It does allow kids so would just highlight that - and if kids arent your vibe they have a nicer adult only property next door that 1 of our friends stayed and enjoyed. Great overall experience, would highly recommend!

Great trip!!

I was worried about stay as I had read some of the reviews after we booked. I was pleasantly surprised and loved my entire stay. To be realistic the biggest opportunity was some of the cleanliness due to being near the beach and having sand everywhere. The staff was very accommodating and always smiling. The food was a solid 9 with the last day being a MEXICO themed night which had food that brought back a lot of my childhood memories. The entertainment that night was awesome, a 12 out of 10!! We were there with my kids and in-laws who all said they would want to return again. Down side was on the first day someone tried to sell us a “time share” that was a little pushy but did provide some great information and great entertainment suggestions that were positioned as discounts if we attended an info meeting to get these discounts. In all was a great trip!!

The location is excellent- 20 minute drive from airport, easy access to buses and walkable to Malacon. Hotel was upgraded and rooms are nice. The things I didn’t enjoy; my room was noisy as faced the street and when I asked to be moved after the first night was told only possible with an upgrade at cost of additional $350.00, food was plentiful at buffets however was bland and hot items were lukewarm, changes in pool area affected enjoyment as now a staff member paroled lounge chairs and moved articles if left for more than 15 minutes, restricted menu options available at the pool, the 2 bars outside closing hours have changed to 10pm, music at night moved to lobby area so it’s loud and crowded. At checkout asked to keep wristbands for additional hour and told extra charge, after complaints it was given free. This was my 4th visit over the years and last.

The only thing bad I can say is the beds are hard and maybe bed bugs!? I have little bits all over my body. Other than that the place was beautiful and so much fun the people and stuff was amazing.

Small hotel, the beach is not swimmable due to high dangerous waves and rocks / stones everywhere. Location of the property was great in the downtown part of the city, walkable to main attractions in PV. Food at the main restaurant was average quality, nothing more. Pool bar food was good, when it comes to sandwiches and snacks. The swimming pool is small for the hotel size and not exciting. Not an exciting resort as such, due to the small property. Staff are very helpful and kind.

En general todo bien, la comida y el servicio de lo mejor. Solo para mejorar, deberían dar todas las indicaciones respecto al uso de las instalaciones en el check in y la limpieza del hotel en mi caso lo hicieron tarde
