It's a budget hotel, so you won't find any luxuries. My two biggest complaints, the internet is inconsistent and doesn't work well and there is a really gross sewage smell that comes from the drains, especially in the shower.

It was a pretty nice hotel but I was certainly expecting more based on the reviews. Unfortunately, it did not live up to our expectations. Our main cripe was with the family room we booked. It was much too small for a family of 5. In addition, both doors leading to the patio did not close properly so it was all too easy to hear the noise from the busy street below. The WIFI was also substandard and consistently disconnected. Not that there's any room for one but there's no mini fridge in the room unless you pay extra. All in all, it's a charming, clean hotel with friendly staff but the room left much to be desired.

Excellent location. Wall out the door of the hotel and you are literally steps away from excellent dining and shopping, and a 5 minute walk to the beah. The neighborhood is lively and LOUD. There is music and street noise almost 24/7. If you are a light sleeper I highly recommend ear plugs. This is not a luxury hotel, if that is your thing, look elsewhere. If you want to experience Zona Romantica, then you can’t do much better than Posada de Roger.

I just love this hotel. I have stayed here before and I will be back again. It is in a fantastic location next to lots of restaurants and just a couple of blocks from the beach. The place is quaint, pretty, and clean. The front desk staff and housekeepers are all very friendly.
