**Review for Villa del Palmar, Puerto Vallarta:** I recently had the pleasure of spending an entire week at Villa del Palmar in Puerto Vallarta, and I can honestly say it was one of the best vacation experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, everything about this place screamed relaxation and luxury. Having stayed in Cancun three times before, I thought I knew what to expect from a high-end resort, but Villa del Palmar exceeded every expectation. The service here was absolutely unparalleled—probably the best I’ve ever received at any resort. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as peaceful and enjoyable as possible. Whether it was the concierge team helping me plan activities, the poolside staff bringing refreshing drinks, or the restaurant servers who made every meal feel special, the service here was truly exceptional. The resort itself is a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had an unbeatable view of the ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves every morning was pure bliss. The property is so peaceful, and I felt instantly at ease the moment I arrived. I especially loved the pools and beaches—everything was impeccably maintained, and there was never a shortage of lounge chairs, so I never felt crowded. The overall atmosphere was calm and serene, and it made for the perfect backdrop to unwind and recharge. In short, I loved everything about this hotel and resort.

To begin with the room wasn't ready until 4 pm,then we went to eat something and nobody told us that we had lo be sitting by the hostes an the waitress yelled at us in a bad way, saying that the entrance was by the other way, right away the waitress started to fighting in front of us. Our room..the pillows were so bad smelling like dirty clothes, and the room furniture was really dirty so spotty, i complained and got change the pillos but was kind of the same, next day by dinner time my friend asked to the hostes a table close by an area with a better viewing to the shows and she was rude and say no im going to sit you there in the oposite side of the restaurant eventhought it was a big table available we understand we we were a group of 9 people but the place was almost empty she yelled at my friend and my friend yielded back i had to intervine it was embarrassing she ended up sitting us in the table that we wanted but the dinner mod was ruined by then.we make a complained with the hotel they apologized but i think they need alot to do for training personnel, we understand employees must be tired but at the end we are paying for a service. Food taste was good and clean and the spa was really good.i hope they do better.

The food was good. The rooms were pretty run down. Not much entertainment. The Service was questionable. Daniel (our pool waiter) was the best of the service staff. Majority of the staff seemed irritated and unfriendly. The oddest thing about this property was, although we were all-inclusive guest, servers would make you sign a receipt for EVERYTHING. It felt in some type of way off scammy and off. The pool stayed open late, which was cool.

The hotel is gorgeous! The poolside staff was always very friendly and made you feel at home. Some of the dining staff weren’t as attentive and polite. However, there was a morning dining staff member named Xolyaeztly very nice, well mannered and polite. The food selection needs improvement, the food was the same every day. I stayed for 6 days and seen the same selection every day. The entertainment wasn’t that great, there is music in the main pool but you cannot hear it, very low volume. Front desk people need to smile and be a bit more courteous. My room was beautiful and always well kept and clean! The downside was that there was always noises at night from the drainage, the fan, scratches here and there between the vents and walls. It was also very difficult to get waters to have in the room. For an all inclusive I was expecting more. Beach area is beautiful and you are able to swim. I don’t think I would stay there again.

Villa Del Palmar was a great place to stay! We (2adults 2kids 6&8yo) didn’t have any issues in the room or at any of the restaurants. They have a great variety of dishes served at each one. Since there is only one place serving breakfast, it sometimes did take a while to get a table, but it was only at certain hours. Our favorite was the Hibachi restaurant. Our least favorite was the seafood market as it took 2 hours to dine, so if you’re hungry don’t go there! The entertainment during the day wasn’t over the top as most resorts I’ve been to, push people to join, however they would just go around letting people know about the activity that is about to start. As for the night entrainment, the fire show was well done but the others were not that entertaining. The only real complaints I had was having to sign a check after every single meal and trip to the bar. As well as the fact that they stopped serving at 10:30. I would expect the sports bar to be opened to at least midnight. As for the pool, my kids really enjoyed it, but be warned the shallowest part of the pool is 4’6”. So if your child can’t swim, make sure to take floaties if you plan on taking a break. The beach was clear so they also enjoyed the sand and as all places, tons of vendors and people trying to get you to do an excursion. The weather this time of year was not as clear if it wasn’t their rainy season. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had no issues going in and out of the resort as they have shops nearby too!

Staff was friendly the areas were clean, I didnt know that the gym area and third pool area were all closed for remodeling. One of the things I also didnt like ia the persuading of attending a 90 min class that ia actually not 90 min and takes more than half of your day, if your on vacation why do theywaste your time.

We stayed at Villa del Palmar for 5 days. As soon as we arrived we were sat down and told that this entire resort was going to be demolished and that part of it was under construction because it’s old and they want to make a better one. Then they tried to sell us a tour at their new hotel offering all these “perks” and tried to sell a timeshare. The food was not bad just mediocre.. had a couple good meals but it got old quite quickly and only one restaurant was open at a time or the buffet. No reservations or wait time while we were here. The waiters at the restaurant were all very nice and friendly. The pool is nice but filled with mostly children and there in no pool bar. The beach is also nice but filled with people trying to sell you things. One thing that bothered us as we purchased all inclusive is that you have to wait to sign the checks every time you eat and you cannot take the food with you by the pool. You have to wait for the waiters to help you by the pool and it takes 30 minutes for them to bring your drink. The creperie is nice as well but it takes you 30 minutes to get anything as well. Location was near downtown and easy to get to with taxi. The room was also clean and we had no complaints. Overall, I think there are better resorts for the price and places that don’t try to upsell or scam you!!

The property itself was clean. However the room though it was nice it did need renovation. New paint. The water from shower would come out due to the way the shower glass was.

The staff is rude especially the front desk the place is moldy smelling our room flooded and they wouldn’t change our rooms due to being full so o asked for compensation for the 3 days of flooding they wouldn’t do that I would never recommend this place
