Absolutely amazing experience! The hotel rooms were spotless, modern, and super comfortable. The service was top-notch—staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Cocktails were delicious and beautifully prepared, with a great variety at every bar. And the entertainment? Non-stop fun! From live music to themed parties, there was always something going on. Truly a 5-star experience all around. Can’t wait to come back!

Expedía should have warn us that the beach was not available due to the immense amount of seaweed on the shore and water. It was a huge disappointment for us. The beautiful pictures of the beach that you posted on your web page made us decide to book our vacation on Bahia Principe. Huge disappointment and dissatisfaction experience.

The Pro’s nice pool and beach area. Staff were excellent. Adults only!! The Con’s watered down drinks, bed was hard as a brick. Room services comes when they want. The food at the restaurants are not all that great!! However the food in the palmyra hall was the best thing going. Would I return or recommend yes! However

Avoid Ambar at all costs. This was hands-down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We were a group of 14 women visiting for a bachelorette weekend, and not only was the service rude and disorganized, but two of our friends had a terrifying safety incident — a man claiming to be hotel staff knocked on their door at 3 AM, refused to identify himself, and the hotel did nothing when we reported it. No follow-up, no concern, no apology. Restaurant reservations were a nightmare, the app was useless, and the staff was mostly dismissive or rude. Rooms were booked incorrectly, food and drinks were inconsistent, and the entire stay felt chaotic and unsafe. The only positives? Room key bracelets, a helpful staffer at the guest desk, and fun pool bartenders — that’s it. Ambar completely failed on safety, service, and hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

This place was fire!!!! The swim up pool room was next level. Stepping into the water from my patio was everything. Food and drinks, service, all top tier. Already dreaming of my next trip back.

Bahía Príncipe Luxury Ambar exceeded every expectation we had! The resort is absolutely beautiful and very clean, the staff were amazing and treated us like royalty from the beginning. We are coming back for sure!

I was staying for the second time at Bahia Ambar. This time the seaweeds spoiled my stay, it was all over the beach and tractors were taking it from one huge pile to another. Because i wasn't able to seim i got overheated and got horrible migraine for 3 days. The water at the pool was hot like in jacuzzi, so it was impossible to cool off. Also the shower by the coco station didn't work. The rooms are getting outdated. I liked the suff though, they brought a pillow top mattress per my request. The food in the buffet was good, but no any chocolate deserts. At French restaurant the air-conditioning didn't work so i didn't enjoy the food because of the heat exhaustion.
