I didn’t like that you couldn’t get a reservation at the ale’ carte restaurants. The beach area is good, but the beach itself was not.

Nos quedamos en este hotel de viernes a lunes, un grupo de 12 personas. Desde el viernes comenzamos a coordinar con el personal del front desk una salida a Casa de Campo para el domingo. Ellos tomaron todos nuestros datos y el sábado nos confirmaron que todo estaba gestionado. El domingo llegó el taxi (acordado en $190 por ida, espera de 3 horas y regreso), pero al llegar a Casa de Campo nos informaron que el permiso no estaba procesado y que los fines de semana no se manejan ese tipo de solicitudes. Es decir, el front desk nunca realizó el trámite, a pesar de habernos asegurado lo contrario. Tuvimos que pagar $150 por un viaje que no pudimos aprovechar, no nos consiguieron ni una reservación en algún restaurante y no ofrecieron ningún tipo de compensación o reembolso. Fue una experiencia frustrante, una pérdida de tiempo y dinero. No recomiendo este hotel. La República Dominicana tiene muchísimas mejores opciones donde realmente se valora la experiencia del huésped y se maneja la logística con responsabilidad. Lamentablemente, el que nos den disculpas ahora no nos devuelve el dinero perdido, mucho menos el tiempo y el mal rato.

this was my first time to the DR and OMG, it was amazing. the staff was so incredible. you made us feel right at home and would highly recommend this location to everyone.

Maid service was bad.....dinner reservations was a disaster and most staff was ignorant and unfriendly! Entertainment staff was awesome bartenders were great and waitresses at bars were great.....waiters and waitresses at all food places were unfriendly and down right rude with lake of good service!!! Will not ever go back to Principle.....I will stick to Punta Cana.

The service was awesome but the cleaning was terrible. The rooms very dirty, most in the bathroom, we didn’t use jacuzzi was dirty.

To make matters worse, the ocean water is far from clean. I was hoping for a refreshing swim, but the water looked uninviting and dirty. It’s unacceptable for a resort to advertise a beach when it’s not suitable for swimming .

the grounds were beautifully landscaped, the beach area was clean with beautiful palm trees and lit up at night. The only drawback was it was an hour plus ride from the Punta Cana airport, but the seclusion made it worth the drive

Everything from check-in to check out was perfection. Most especially the entertainment staff and the gym. Over the top accommodating. They made us feel like family. Food was delicious, different food for everyone’s liking. Enough chairs by the pool. We were even given popsicles! on a tray, on a very hot day sitting by the pool! Over the top perfection in every department. Clean and well kept. Grounds were stunning. I felt very safe and secure, gated community.

First Visit

The employees are very nice, attentive and responsive. The food was delicious & had a lot of variation. The beach and swimming pool have very good maintenance, they could clean the algae from the beach more often. The entertainment and drinks were good. The little village and church were beautiful.
