We have been to Breathless several times and this was by far the worst of the experiences for several reasons. The rooms were old and in need of updates and repairs The staff didn’t have the same energy as it’s had in past visits And lastly, while the sargassum is not something they could control, they certainly could have kept the beaches cleaner with better organization and a better plan for making it minimally useable. They didn’t try to put up barriers or detractors until the last day we were there, while other resorts had these up the entire season. I would not recommend visiting until they correct a lot of these issues.

The experience was up and down during my stay. On the first night there we were sent in two different directions to check in and no one communicated that we had already been checked in and it took about an hour for staff get us to our room, and they became upset that we didn’t explain to them what the staff notified us they had already explained to the driver. The area was clean and so were the rooms. Most staff members were rude with us, especially the females. On the final night, I ordered room service and the deliverer handed me a hot plate off a skillet without saying a word or notifying me it was hot, I immediately dropped the plate and yelled, he then sat the plates down and ran from the room. When I called management they asked if I wanted to walk to the doctor at 2:30am, and I asked if they could come to me because we were checking out in the am and needed sleep, and he stated no I had to go to them and that they would give me Ice. It caused a 2 degree burn that’s showed in the picture I posted. The manager gave me ice, left and no one followed to see if I was okay.
