Exceptional cleanliness. Didn’t see a single bug anywhere! Food was mediocre. Really wanted a steak, but that restaurant is only for club members, and they kicked us out. Went to Mexican, but it was way too hot to eat there. Water too deep in pool. No sun on private patio, so having a swim out room was not beneficial, ladders were loose and shaky

Food was not that good. But it’s not a resort problem, it’s an island problem. The island doesn’t get great food. The resort did as well as they could. But the food at Excellence Cancun was far better. Other than that the resort was 5 stars.

We just returned from six amazing days at Excellence Punta Cana, and our hearts are still on that beach! 🌴 As total beach lovers, we were in heaven-the sand and water were absolutely beautiful and the perfect backdrop for relaxing. This was our third Excellence resort, and once again, the brand truly delivered a world-class experience. The service was beyond excellent; the staff is so incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Plus, the grounds are just gorgeous and so meticulously maintained. A pro tip: Don't miss taking a stroll through the beautiful gardens! 🦜 We also had some fantastic dining experiences! The Grill was a standout for us-you HAVE to try the smoked watermelon, it was surprisingly delicious. We also had incredible meals at The Lobster House and Chez Isabelle, though honestly, we found every restaurant we tried to be wonderful. The only tiny thing we noticed was that we missed the signature scent we remembered from the other resorts, but it didn't take away from a perfect stay. We had a fantastic time and are so grateful to the EPC team for such a memorable vacation!☀️
