The property excellent but theyneed to do some changes in mens bathroom close to the pool terrible, dirty always, the potty are to high design for horses and I am 6,2”. The food excellent less in the mareas restaurant don’t have variety of seafood. The desserts in most of the restaurants are not good as the quality of the food.

This hotel is the best! I was a little nervous after reading some of these reviews but after my amazing experience there, these bad reviews couldn’t be further from the truth. I booked the resort queen pool side view with double beds. The property grounds is just stunning! Waterfalls every where, lush trees and flowers. The rooms were huge, loved the shower area, and everything was cleaned daily. The app was so easy to use to order housekeeping, more items you may need in the room, and to reserve reservations at the restaurants. Check in was a little delayed but checking out was quick. The food at all the restaurants were all good! The Caribe buffet was our choice for breakfast and lunch. Just know it will be hard to get a reservation that night but as soon as we were checked in with a room number we immediately reserved for all the days we were there. We reserved El Charro which had such amazing Mexican food and desserts, El Asador was good too but felt they were a little disorganized amongst each other especially the waiters, and the Gondola had some great Italian food and their passionfruit tiramisu was so good! As for people saying the staff was mean and no one speaks English there is not true. The staff was kind from beginning to end of our trip. The only ones I noticed you need to at least know some Spanish to get you by is if you ask the cleaning people or housekeepers for directions or for something you may need, they will tell you they don't speak English.

We had an amazing 4-night stay at Lopesan Costa Bávaro. The resort is stunning, super clean, and very family-friendly. Our kids loved the water park and pools, and the food was great with plenty of variety. Staff were friendly and helpful the entire time. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun Caribbean vacation!

The resort was clean and updated and the staff was very friendly . The bars had enough staff where you didn’t have to wait for a drink and they and multiple bars thought the resort . The dinning staff were amazing to where they remembered your orders . It was my first to an all inclusive resort and will do it again . I did have an issue with my air conditioning in my room where it was not cool enough but I logged a service ticket and they were out the next day to fix it so rest of my trip it was cool enough . A Great Place for family’s with and with out kids.

Thank you for such an amazing stay. Lopesan is one of the luxury and VVIP resorts. We enjoyed the amazing cuisine restaurants, fabulous bars and the DJ beach party, foam pool party, huge water park, kids play area where you can drop off kids of 3 and over under their supervision to enjoy some couple time.. Plantations all around, great staff and pool, beach views, beyond words!

My family and I had just vacationed at this resort. We had a wonderful time! The property was beautiful, quite large, staff are friendly and kind and the resort offers lots of kid friendly entertainment. The water park was great, we quite enjoyed it! We had a swim up room, which we found very convenient after a day at the beach or at the infinity pools. The room was clean daily, and spacious. The room offered coffee and mini bar, although the mini bar was not at all cold. The beds were comfy and we also asked for a crib for our one year old - it was a real crib and not a play pen. We found the food to be good. There was five restaurants we went to and also the buffet. The Italian restaurant was our favorite, whereas the American “the valley” was ok, the food was dry, the burger was good though! We dinned at the buffet for breakfast and some lunches. It was mediocre at best as some of the food was dry and not temped well but the flavors was there! The beach buffet “the goldfish” was also good and tasty, but very few selection. You were able to dine outdoor or take your food to-go as they offered paper plates. The drinks were tasty but didn’t seem all that strong. The bartenders were quite verse in making cocktails and quick! As we had a one year old, our options were limited but still manage to find something for our family to enjoy. We visited panchi club (kids 1-12) a couple of times, the concept is great but could use a little work; it’s dark and depressing, staff is kind!

The resort is beautiful. The room was gorgeous. The service was horrible. I wasn’t walked to my room and it’s a big property so I got lost trying to find it. I found out I needed towel a card to get towels for the beach and pool and I didn’t receive any when checking in. Housekeeping kept skipping my room. I was ignored at bars and restaurants. My bedsheets smelled like cologne so they were never washed. Any time I asked staff for help they acted like they did not want to be bothered or like they were annoyed. My hot water did not work. The mini fridge didn’t work. It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful resort. The pool and beach were gorgeous. The vacation would have been perfect if the staff was better.

The resort is beautiful but the all inclusive portion was horrible and i can start by the restaurants having reservations and always being fully booked also the buffets food was not good at all. I even witnessed a roach in the Atlantic restaurant/ buffet. My experience as far as food was horrible.

Room was very warm, mini fridge did not work, food was not well cooked, drinks were watered down. No coffe creamer in room and when asked to bring some there was none. Asked management to change mi I fridge and it took 2 nights.

Service is bad. Was 2 hours in check in. I had to change the lady cleaning the room because she was having an attitude because i asked her for extra towel. Service needs to improve everything else was good
