The resort was huge, clean, beautiful, and well maintained!!! The pool was clean and huge!!! The food was good!! The service could have been a bit faster. As a married American woman, I noticed that the Dominican Women only addressed my husband and would not really ask me if i wanted a coffee or a drink. I understand it is a cultural difference, but IT IS noticeable. That did not happen at every encounter. The beach was BEAUTIFUL!!! The big waves we were fun to float in. Overall, we had a very enjoyable vacation!!

Food was not as good, I understand it's mass production because it's an all inclusive resort, but still can do a little better. Some staffs are attentive but most of them are not, they don't seem happy with what they are doing. Many times they skip our table when offering water or coffee or any drinks. They tidied our room, took our towels and did not replace them. First day and the coffee creamer and sugar were hardened, seems not replaced for a long time. Coffee were not replaced. Cutleries in the restaurants were dirty, had to ask them everytime to replace them. Don't get me wrong, there are staffs that are nice but most of them just don't care. Also, I got stomach issues and asked for banana and was told they don't have bananas.

When we arrived in the room, it was not properly cleaned; the toilet smelled, the sink and floor were dirty, making it impossible to stay without shoes.

The whole stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived, the check in process was super fast and easy. All staff from housekeeping, restaurant staff, and especially the entertainment crew were 10/10. Nati, our housekeeper was great. The host at the beach restaurant, Laura, was spectacular. Again, the entertainment crew was incredible, shot out to honey, hot chocolate and specially Panda. This is our 6th time visiting majestic resorts and we will definitely be back.

5 stars every single time! Its our 3rd visit, and the people who work there are the BEST!! Yohanni at the family pool bar, along with deronni (spelling?)and Alejandro and Wonder at the swim up bars - you are ALL Amazing! The 5pm Bingo ladies had us all in stitches. Honey pierett especially!

We had a problem with our first room and they moved us with no problems. The resort is great and can’t wait for next year to see the up grades they make.the staff is excellent from maintenance, cleaning staff Bar tenders, servers, etc

Check in wasn’t great, couldn’t understand staff, room and fridge extremely warm, 1st 24 hours were rough The next 7 days were much better and we enjoyed the weather, our room was clean every day, however, our fridge wasn’t stocked, as promised, the food was plentiful, room service was wonderful, aside from cold food a few times, everyone at the resort was kind. The appearance outdoors was very well kept and pool water was always clean. Majestic is a beautiful resort, we are happy with our stay

We had a wonderful time at Majestic Colonial. The grounds and rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was great. The room was a little dated but it did not impact our positive experience.

I just got back from this establishment and here are the pros and cons Pros very clean resort, attentive, relaxing Cons most not all workers didn’t seen very friendly, even if you were tipping well you never really got any better service if you weren’t tipping Buffet was ok, not the worst but not the best. If you were eating fish I would highly recommend eating at the al carte not the Buffett as my partner got sick and threw up every time she ate fish at the buffet. Depends on what you are looking for it may be the a right fit or bad fit Young family and elderly would more than likely like their stay. If your a couple looking for more lively experience it is not the resort for you Overall I don’t believe I would go back to the Dominican.
