We loved our stay at the Majestic Colonial All inclusive Resort. We stayed for one week in a garden facing Club room on the second floor. We had a beautiful view of the gardens, beach and sunsets from our balcony. The Club rooms are a bit more costly but worth it for us. We had a butler, his name was Anderson. He made sure we were enjoying our time and helped with any questions. The room and all the resort was well maintained. All the staff we interacted with were so nice and always ready to help when we asked. The Club rooms include a few perks, one is a snack bar in the club office area. It offers all sorts of yummy foods and is very well maintained from morning to evening by the staff. The beach area was also well maintained. We used the Club pools most of the time. They are narrow and long, with a wet bar at one end. They had lots of lounges and canopied cabanas to use. All the pools were a comfortable temp. The property has several restaurants to choose from. Two of them require reservations for dinner. Just so it is clear, All inclusive means the food is included, along with the drinks. That said, when you go to the restaurant you can order what you want from the menu. I usually ordered two appetizers and entrees because I wanted to try some different foods while I was there. We tipped the wait staff a dollar or two for meal service. There is a less expensive gift shop off the property. It is a 5-10 min free shuttle ride from the resort.

Staff was great beach was absolutely beautiful clear warm ocean and nice pools the only thing is the food was good at the restaurants but the buffet was hit or miss but you can always go get something else because there are so many options i would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax. And I felt extremely safe.

Overall we had a good experience. We had to change rooms because it looks like linens weren’t changed. They have free breakfast that other hotels may charge you. Day time front desk was nice but bar employees weren’t friendly. They advertise that they have to and from airport shuttles but they don’t but they have shuttle to Los Corales beach that leaves at 10:00 AM and returns at 4:00 PM

Overall stay was good. We enjoyed and the food and pool. I would say I was not expecting to walk so much from my room going to the beach and other restaurants. I wasn’t prepared with nice walking shoe around the resort and my slippers were not supporting my foot. I was also very disappointed with my checking in process. I had uploaded our passport and finished checking in the resort using their website prior to our visit, however, the checking in process took us about 2 hours. First, our connecting flight got cancelled so we couldn’t make it to the resort on the date we were suppose to check in and I had inform the resort about the delay. However, next day when we got to the resort in the afternoon around 3 pm, they said they have to make new reservation since I couldn’t check in yesterday and made us wait 1-2 hours. With small infant, we were tired and hungry already. We were told that we can grab snacks and come back and room would be ready but to our surprise, the lady that told us had gone home and other team couldn’t find our reservation and they started saying we haven’t paid for the resort when in fact we had a package deal bought from Expedia which was paid upfront. After a while of back and fourth call, we were given keys to our room and first day impression wasn’t good at all from the resort side.

we stay in the majestic club suit. only recomendation about the mantenance.The shower keys were annoying; when you pressed the button, they wouldn't stay in place. Also, the housekeeping service should change or replace the bathrobes if they get wet. The coffee maker needs maintenance. Our butler, Darel Butler, was excellent, but he couldn't be everywhere at once, so there's a lack of maintenance and room service. They should change the bathrobes and replace items in the refrigerator, liquor, etc., as they run out. They should also do the cleaning in the morning, not late at night. This is especially important because it's a Majestic Club room.

When they decided to weed whack the grass while we were trying to nap pool side the clippings were left in our patio for quite a while so we had grass all over our feet and had to grab our hand held fan to try and get it off the patio before we kept dragging it into the pool . Then a nice man came around and tried to get the most of it but the stuff under our chairs were still there .
