Everyone at the resort was very friendly, and the customer service was excellent.Had a wonderful stay, thanks to all of the staff at the Majestic Colonial Resort. Can't wait to go back.

I appreciated that they gave us extra beds as requested. Checkin was friendly but checking out lady could have been better. The room needs to be updated. Toilet is dirty. House keeping was always late cleaning and I had to ask a few times for extra towels and snacks. Bell boy didn't come in to get luggages on time as promised. The foods were just ok. I came back to Majestic because we had a great time at Majestic Mirage. I assumed service would be the same but it was completely different. Staff made me feel like I would be treated differently if I tip them every time.

El staff muy agradable y servicial los muchachos de la piscina Raul, jose , marlin , chocolate , y todos los que animaban , stephanie ect todos excelentes Sin embargo la habitacion al llegar no estaba lista nos dieron otra por una noche , pedimos que nos dejaran en esa para no tener que volver a movernos nos querian cobrar 700 dolares, el AC de la habitacion no servia ,llamamos a guest service y nadie nos devolvio la llamada so tuvimos que llegar alla a pedir abanicos y el calor era tanto que ni los abanicos ayudaron nunca nadie se preocupo por preguntar nada , 4 habitaciones rentamos ninguna le funcionaba el AC , mi habitacion tenia cucarachas que en el baño y en las paredes nadie aparecio a resolver el issue la verdad el servicio de guest service pesimo

Day 1 checked in to our room; realized maids forgot to leave towels also our mini fridge was not stocked, for 4 star all inclusive resort you would think you have better service. We had to call daily to front desk because they forgot to leave towels. We also received free Majestic tote bag from the Hotel services, First day we stepped out to walk around; come back to room and the bag it gone missing. Report it to staff member but no response. Will never come back!

Our Butler Braymer was amazing, always professional, always helpful, knowledgeable, friendly & courteous. Facility is beautiful, several meal options & variety. Staff was friendly & supportive. The jr suite shower could use a new overhead shower head & some hard water deep cleaning but was acceptable.

Beautiful resort. Staff very friendly and helpful especially a gentleman named Oscar. Oscar originally escorted my girlfriend and I to our room when we got there. He mainly works at the main buffet and is the nicest person I’ve met on that resort. He remembered our names and treated us very well.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome from the front desk team. The check-in process was smooth, and every staff member I encountered went out of their way to be helpful and courteous. 🏨 The room was impeccably clean, beautifully furnished, and incredibly comfortable. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches—from the high-quality toiletries to the cozy linens—that made me feel truly at home. 🍽️ The dining experience was exceptional. The variety and quality of the food exceeded my expectations, and the service was prompt and friendly. 🌇 The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the area, and the amenities—like the spa, pool, and gym—were top-notch and well-maintained. The Colonial was a fine resort. Nothing out of this world but I got what I was expecting. Staff very friendly. Food was ok (very repetitive especially with desserts), drinks could be better. I noticed if you want real top shelf drinks, you need to specify or else you'll get their watered down, not so good tasting alcohol. And once they know you and you tip them well, they continue to serve you correctly. The only downfall for me was allowing people to smoke wherever they want. At times I had to relocate myself at several outdoor areas/lobbies etc because of all the smoking going on. Other resorts have dedicated areas for smokers but this resort still does not. I hope they consider this in the future. Another was the wait time at the Steakhouse. We waited over an hour to get our meal. Because of this we missed the evening show. The Japanese restaurant was by far the best all inclusive restaurant I have ever been to. Highly recommended. All in all, a good experience at the Colonial.

If you are staying on the Colonial Club side of the resort, you will be taken care of from the time you arrive at the lobby steps to when you depart. As soon as we arrived, our luggage was taken off our shuttle and tagged to be brought to our room for us. We were led to the VIP lobby where they got us set up, and our butler Alberto met with us. Alberto was the best butler we could've asked for! He gladly made every reservation and every accommodation we asked for and did all he could to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We were on our Honeymoon and trying to take advantage of the Honeymoon package offerings, and some items were not offered to us right away, such as a door sign, romantic decorations, a complimentary romantic breakfast, and dinner that we kept having to ask Alberto about, but he made sure to get us everything we deserved! Prior to the trip, I was worried about food choices as I am very picky, but there were always so many options, whether you choose to go to the beach restaurant, one of the lobby restaurants, or the buffet. Food for every type of eater. As for the room, upon arrival, the room was very clean. The toilet was by far the most surprising, as you barely have room to turn yourself around with the door closed. Throughout our stay, our room was cleaned when we desired, and there were only a handful of times they forgot to replenish an item, such as towels, and it would take a while to get a hold of someone.

The property was nice however some rooms could be updated. My room had a broken curtain and mold in the bathroom. I had a bad experience with a staff member who made a error with a dinner reservation and blamed it on me. The staff member did not take any accountability or try to offer alternatives. I am not sure I would go back to this resort.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, the food was tasty, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The only downside is that the rooms are showing signs of age and could use some renovation. Still, overall a good experience.
