The staff is what makes this property so special. Especially, Jose-Rafael (steakhouse waiter), Ezequiel (Japanese restaurant waiter), Emmanuel Quezada (restaurant supervisor), Vanessa (restaurant hostess), Reyes (busser). I would add more names but am limited because of the space. The staff is incredible and they all deserve a raise. We plan on going back, hopefully next year. The food was excellent and the ambiance. The hotel was impeccable. I feel sad when people make bad reviews about your property. We have traveled many places around the world and this is one of the best experiences we have ever had. 2 years ago we stayed at this property and were amazed by the hospitality of the staff. We liked it so well that we came back 2 years later, and honestly it was 2 years too late. There were certain staff at Majestic Elegance that made real impressions on their lives. After meeting these individuals for the first time 2 years ago, my wife and I often reflect on that vacation and talk about these people and wonder how they are doing. We arrived two years later and the same people are still working there and each time we would see these individuals on our second trip, they actually remembered us and gave us big hugs and handshakes and remembered us as well. We understand that they see thousands of people, but for them to remember you individually is amazing. Maxima, Marilania, Joel, and Walliam at the beach bar are so special to us. These are amazing people that as crazy as it seems, feel like they are our family to us. You can tell that they all seem to love their jobs and are very hard workers. I can now say that we have added to our Dominican family after meeting Santiago, he was a waiter at one of the restaurants and immediately embraced us and took special care of us. I am sure that you can go to several places in the Caribbean and have the same type of views but I am positive that you will not go anywhere else and get the same hospitality and personable care. Majestic Elegance is a wonderful place to stay in the Dominican, treat yourself and give it a try.

Loved our experience from beginning to end. We had a person assigned to assist us in anything we needed. His name was Osvaldy which did an amazing job at making any thing we asked come to life. The staff around the resort were all welcoming and friendly. We felt at home. Francis the event host was amazing! Very entertaining and friendly. Luis Miguel by the beach bar gave us an amazing service. We will definitely visit this resort again and recommending it to all of our friends and families.

I had a terrible experience at this place. I got sick after visiting, discovered bed bugs, and the customer service was absolutely awful. Jose at the 9 Doors was completely unprofessional — constantly staring me down in a way that was extremely uncomfortable, almost like he wanted a confrontation. On top of that, there was a disgusting incident where he tried to spit in the ice cream. I will never be coming back and strongly advise others to stay far away.

Majestic Elegance exceeded my expectations! The beach and pools are gorgeous, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and my room was spacious and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food and drinks were plentiful with lots of variety, and the entertainment kept things fun without being overwhelming. Overall, a wonderful all-inclusive experience — I’d happily come back and highly recommend it!

I had a wonderful experience with staff, check-in and out process was easy. The room was nice, well kept, and housekeeper kept everything well stocked. We took advantage of the Swim-Up Bar and it was very nice and accommodating. Dining options was good it offered buffet style options for breakfast/lunch or restaurant style. My overall best restaurant was 9 Doors, Japanese 10/10.

This was my third time at Majestic Elegance. Overall, the stay was good, but I felt the entertainment was just okay—nothing special, maybe because it was off-season or a lower budget. The food selection had a lot of seafood, . I was also looking forward to a sauna and steam room, but apparently, they only offer massages.
