Butler was great. Beach was nice. But the food is pretty terrible, tipping is expected everywhere, room service menu and selection is poor. Outlets in room dont work. Pools are almost non existent, there is no main pool, just a thin pool river like effect. Having gone with Sandlas properties several times theblast 5 years and wanting to compare there teally is no comparison. Staff overall was nice, but between the poor food (could barely even find any fruit (surprising) or deserts and lack of access (no poolside or beach food (all inclusive should have these in abundance) it was disappointing. On the plus, despite some DR concerns we felt safe at the resort and plenty of staff to guest ratio. If they had better food options (restaurant quality, roo dervice, abulty to bring food back to your room like Sandals), beach food / snacks, the value would be better.

Everything was top notch. Room was clean. Service was outstanding. Our butler, Fernando, was attentive but not overbearing and always quickly radiative when we had a question or a need. Beach was cleaned everyday. Food was really good. No complaints at all. Will return.

Room was beyond expectations! Food was fantastic everywhere we went. The staff are phenomenal, super courteous, friendly, helpful. If you have the option to request a butler, please ask for Junior! Words cannot express how much we appreciated him throughout the stay. He was there for us, checked in regularly, popped up during breakfast, random other spots, almost like he had a tracker on us, just to make sure we were all good! We will definitely miss the Majestic crew, but Junior the most!

We were there for 6 days, 5 nights in Mid-February. We had an amazing time. Check in process was seamless. Drinks were served right away. Reyes was very friendly and accommodated us very nicely. Bolivar was assigned as our Butler. He was a blessing throughout. This guy is a gem. He is on top of his stuff. He decorated our room beautifully for our anniversary. Bolivar helped us arrange excursions as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Highly recommended. We will definitely go again!

We didn’t have electricity for 2 days. Checking in was terrible.It took us one hour to check in and another hour waiting for luggage to arrive to the room.

Excellent resort grounds, clean lobbies and bars, the staff speak better English than at the other two Majestic hotels, better service, slightly better food and alcohol compared to the Elegance. Overall a newer hotel with far fewer children so if you're looking to enjoy more peace and quiet, that's the place for you. I did not notice pool parties or other annoying loud activities.
