We had a great stay at Ocean Blue and Sand! Our room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping did an amazing job on a daily basis, leaving the room clean with plenty of towels. The different figures made out of towels and flowers was a nice touch. Food was amazing! We tried all of the restaurants and they were all great. Mike’s coffee was fabulous, offering a huge selection of coffee and tea beverages, along with cakes, pastries and cheesecakes. The buffet was incredible, offering a wide range of food types and cocktails. Staff were very friendly and hardworking. The beach was gorgeous. White sand and turquoise water. Two massive pools. Our bartender at the swim up bar was very entertaining, making great cocktails. The grounds were maintained impeccably. Workers were out early morning raking fallen palm leaves and cutting dead branches. Our Expedia rep Rona went above and beyond to help us.

Buffet food was fair but the restaurants’ food was excellent. Service throughout the hotel was either excellent or not good. Bar tenders were excellent. We ordered room service twice but never got it. The two hot tubs aren’t heated and are the same cold temperature as the pools.

The womens pool bathroom was a disgrace. Broken toilet , and it wasn't kept clean . I had to address this a few times. But beside that our stay was wonderful. Food and entertainment fabulous.

Our room was gorgeous. King sized bed and very quiet. The only negative would be a lack of umbrellas with loungers around the pool. People save those starting at 530 am despite signs saying not to.

My stay at Ocean Blue & Sand Beach Resort was short but overall great, and I would definitely consider visiting again. The resort itself is beautiful, very large, and well maintained. Everything felt very clean, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I only had the chance to eat at the buffet during my stay, but the food selection and quality were very good, so I didn’t get around to trying the restaurants this time. There were, however, two issues during my stay. The minor issue was with my room thermostat, which wasn’t working properly. I reported it three times, but unfortunately it never got fixed, and I ended up dealing with a room temperature of around 79°F for the remainder of my stay. It wasn’t ideal, but I managed. The more serious concern was something I may have misunderstood at first, but I felt that some staff members did not always provide the same level of service to me as they did to other guests. As a Hispanic/Latino guest, I sometimes felt I was treated differently, possibly due to an assumption that I wouldn’t tip, which is not the case since I tip generously. I want to emphasize this was not all staff, as many were friendly and professional, but it was noticeable enough to affect my experience. Despite these issues, I still enjoyed my stay overall and would like to return in the future, hopefully with these concerns improved.
