I expected more from main hospitality. My room was switched at night after heavy rain. My documents , money, and clothes got wet. I was traveling with the kids and my stroller also got wet. It was obvious that no one should have been placed in that room. We had to wear the same Clothes for days because we had dirty clothes from the rain. The hotel also did t have any working water stations near the beach. I called the front desk a few times and it was a hit or miss. For the most part, the staff was nice but one or two bad experiences can define a place!

Our stay at Ocean El Faro was truly amazing! The resort itself was absolutely beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. I want to give a special shoutout to Jose, our personal concierge. He did a fantastic job—always kind, communicative, and incredibly friendly. Jose was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. This was a wonderful experience overall, and the incredible staff at Ocean El Faro made it even more special.

My room had a broken TV and for my six days of stay they couldn’t get it fixed and I have two children luckily I had a tablet so had to use that otherwise people at the bar and restaurant they kind of mean and if you don’t show them that you have tips They not tend to serve you

Outstanding Stay- Made Even Better By Jose!! We had an absolutely wonderful experience during our stay at Ocean El Faro! From the wonderful amenities and the gorgeous maintained grounds to the many activities available during the day for adults and children. There were a lot of dining options available during the day and night. The food was amazing. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was our butler JOSE!! He went above and beyond every single day to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Whether it was arranging last-minute dinner reservations, surprising us with small thoughtful touches, or just checking in with a warm smile, Jose’s service was impeccable. He was professional, kind, incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive. Jose genuinely made us feel special, and it’s rare to encounter someone so dedicated to providing a five-star experience. If you’re staying at this hotel, I highly recommend requesting him-you’ll be in excellent hands. We’ll absolutely be returning, and we hope to see Jose again in our next visit!

Ocean el faro was a fantastic stay for us my wife and almost 2 year old daughter always had something to do for the week long stay they offered convenience everywhere across the property. The ability to book excursions on site easily see the days itinerary and all the free activities across the grounds. When you arrive you get a butler or assistant that sent us updates about the weather and daily activities. They book reservations at the amazing restaurants and overall make the stay even better, thank you Kevin and Jissel. The pool is great and the nightly programs are ver fun and lively for any ages. We loved the nightly “Show Time” with a great manic show, fire dance, and Michel Jackson show in particular. We highly recommend ocean El Faro

Ocean el faro is a beautiful property. Although it’s quite a far drive from the airport and they don’t offer a shuttle service so the price to get from the airport and back is quite pricey. We had a lot of difficulty getting reservations for food every night (you need one for the nicer restaurants) cause our assigned concierge wouldn’t respond or would get the information for us and not actually book the reservation. The steakhouse and the blue moon restaurant were the only decent places to eat. The dinner buffet wasn’t great however the morning and lunch buffet were fantastic. Also unless you book excursions through the hotel they will not let the excursion transfers come into the resort to pick you up. We thought our excursion forgot about us turns out they were waiting for a half hour in front and we were never told!!! Even if you ask them to let them come in to pick you up they won’t let them in. You have to find someone to drive you out of the property. On a positive note the resort itself was very nice - beautiful pools and great drinks and a nice beach area. The room was wonderful and very safe.

This hotel is STUNNING! The ambiance, the decor, the amenities and the staff are 10/10! We traveled with our 2 children (4 and 2) and the hotel was very kid friendly while also feeling very luxurious. The best part about booking through is Expedia is you receive your own butler, and our butler Jose made the experience truly an amazing experience! He always ensured our minibar was full of refreshments and that dinner reservations were secured every night we were there. Jose made our experience that much better! 10/10 recommend!

I loved everything about this resort from the beach to the pools...lazy river was my favorite...the only problem i had was that we had to ask for wash cloths & more toilet tissue. House keeping needs to make sure all guest have their rooms fully stocked for their entire stay other than that everything was perfect.

Great place to stay, we had an amazing time. Just wish the night entertainment was a little more exciting. Jose J. was assigned to us and he was over the top amazing and always there right away if you needed him and would stop you to just say hi and ask how things were going if you passed in the reaort. If i return im requesting to have Jose again.
