Check-in/out is incredibly too long. Waited atleast an hour to be checked in. Rooms were smelly and bed linen were overwhelming stank. Had to contact guest services for clean bed linen and the new linen still had an odor. Roaches were throughout the room all day and night.

Charging of transportation to the gate varied $ 5, 15, 50. White towels in the room are too old , and loosing color badly . Over all , everything was find , service is good , staff friendly , building is clean , and well maintain . That was my fourth times checking in to this hotel for the past few years .

Terrible stay overall i traveled there October 12 thru the 16th of October took my wife for our anniversary 2nd day there whole hotel had a black out started at 4:30pm on monday no TV phones wouldnt work toilet wouldnt flush properly management didnt even come to the rooms to see nor accommodate u nor inform u what was going on nothing stayed in the dark all nite next day still no one didnt come to let me no anything i had to go take a walk to the front desk dwn the stairs cause offcourse elevators was out just to see how and what they was going to do about the situation so they gave me another room on the other side of the hotel were the lights was on but the room they move me to wasnt equivalent to the room i had paid for still TV and toilet wasnt working only had one restaurant open same one smh just terrible management was terrible need to be improved very bad wit that being said bad exspirians for the first time there never again stay away from there food garbage thrumbs dwn i really need my money back or a credit for another stay at another RIU but not in the Dominican Republic

The service from the waiters were excellent! However from the moment we checked into our rooms there was no power, electricity , no biggie we were patient and understanding of the situation. There was also no running water in the sink , shower or toilets wouldn’t flush. It stinked, there was mold on the walls and bed, and roaches coming out of the fridge. Only buffet was opened for food and they had candles in order for us to see somewhat what we were eating. They kept saying power would be restore but after 2 days nothing was resolved. They proceeded to move us to different rooms, but 1/3 didn’t have power and the other 2 already had occupants. It was a disaster and a mess, people were yelling and my kids felt unsafe. The hotel manager finally moved us to a different hotel and advised us to submit a claim for a refund, now that we have submitted the claim they are avoiding us! I had previously stayed here before which is why we came back, but i wouldn’t recommend at all how they handled their customers and the situation. I shouldn’t be stressed on vacation with a group of 9!

Very clean property and room, the bathroom in the room was spotless, fully-stocked mini bar, all-you-can-eat buffets throughout the day, friendly staff... This was a great place to stay. It is overwhelming at first, but ask for a map of the facility and it will all make sense. I would absolutely recommend this resort if you are looking at these reviews.

Everyone is very friendly, the rooms are clean, the pools were the best, it is the second time I have visited this hotel and I am always very delighted with everything.

A prolonged power outage occurred, and it was evident that the hotel was completely unprepared to manage the situation or provide a reliable backup source of electricity. Throughout this time, there was no visible presence or communication from management to address guests’ concerns or offer assistance. This lack of leadership and accountability only added to the frustration and confusion among guests. As a result, we were left without air conditioning overnight more than 24 hrs. I was forced to sleep without A/C, which aggravated my allergies , causing considerable discomfort. Furthermore, the quality of food and service was severely impacted, as the kitchen and staff were unable to maintain normal operations. This experience fell far below the standards expected of a reputable establishment. Thanks to the staff who stayed and did their best to serve us during the hotel’s power outage. Restaurant buffet and front desk sorry for our frustrations you don’t deserve it.

breakfast was not the best but ok, some staffers were friendly, but some of them especially in the foodcourt area, could care less if we were there or not. Hospitality very dissapointing. Outdoor pool water was dirty and alcohol drinks were the worst I ever experience, non brand and cheap, and the taste was proof of it. Beach was good, with good waves and free of seaweeds.
