Swim up bar was fun....food alot to be desired..if you are looking for a party this is your place If you are looking for rest and relaxation and cleanliness around food...go to different hotel. Our room was nice with ocean view but would have preferred 2nd floor.

Let’s start with the staff, majority were nice especially Juan Nunez, also there was a young lady who checked me in who was very pleasant (I forgot her name). Outside of that some were dismissive. We were ignored many times at the bar. Room: the room was not up to par as In appearance. It was clean, however, the outlet were broken, and some of the outlets didn’t work. The WiFi to watch TV does work and you cannot log into your own Netflix because there is no WiFi for the TV. Linens: when the staff wash the linens, they smell as if they were left overnight with the washing covered up and they put it in the dryer the next day, so it smells moldy. Food: the breakfast was ok, lunch seems ok. We never ate dinner at the resort, we went out to have dinner each night. Overall, the resort itself is nice; however, the rooms are very dated. They need to update the rooms and the outlets before they have a fire. I noticed one of the outlets in room 5112 when you plug anything in, there is a little flash. It’s beautiful resort they need to just update the rooms.

En general limpiaria mas la piscina, ya que hay mucha gente. Los tragos son con demasiada azucar. Quizas los restaurantes ofrecer mas a la carta y no buffet. Un carrito para ir a las habitaciones estaria super, la caminata es un poco larga. En el buffet principal hay moscas, no es comodo comer asi. Los riu party son lo mejor. Me la pase super en general.

The resort lost partial power for two days during our stay. We had to ask for a new room with power, but we were treated like an inconvenience. Management did little else to remedy the problem—no offer of credit or refund. The restaurants had no power, so we sat in the dark to eat.

There was no power for more than 24h and nobody gave us any information about what was going on whasoever. It was extremely hot, no wi-fi, the food service was terrible and the hotel didn’t offer any compensation for this awful experience. I won’t return to any Riu Hotels in my life and I will share all the details of my horrible experience in all my social medias.

The pool was missing several tiles inside on many different areas. The rooms are very outdate and outside of the buildings was full of garbage on the ground and around the garage cans. The food wasn't that great and the restaurants were always too busy to accommodate to try other options.
