Staff was amazing, room was great with upgrade for the double balcony, food was actually very very good for being an all inclusive,. Room service ended slightly early but who really cares when you’re in such a good place. Sports bar right in the middle open until 2am was perfect.

Loved the resort however drinks were no longer "All inclusive" like before, cheap liquer only the rest with money. Staff was super nice and helpful. The most frustrating thing was the guys that would come up to you to sell time share and the ones trying to sell you activities is very very annoying and they are rude when they spoke in their language to each other.

The staff, grounds, and food were all amazing. The only thing I disliked was that smoking was allowed in all open-air spaces, including the lobby and right outside our room.

Lots to say about this property. First, the good points about this hotel. Room was large and clean. A few handful of staff were polite and personable. Their Asian, Italian, and steak restaurants were decent. The “preferred” private pool area was nice and less crowded. Now, there is a lot about this hotel that will make us never want to return. The hotel is associated with a company called X-pand. They are trying to get you to sign up and pay for points. The concept isn’t horrible but super pushy and rude sales reps. We told them several times that we wouldn’t be interested but they just kept trying to sell the package. We eventually got up and walked out. When you are walking around the property or sitting by the pool, you will have someone always asking if you want a massage or sign up for an activity. Lots of sales people walking around bothering you, when you are clearly just trying to relax. Some don’t take no for an answer. Most of the staff, except for a few, were rude and completely unhelpful. They seemed bothered when we talked to them. The buffet is edible but nothing to write home about. It was bland or too salty, or cold. Overall, for us, customer service can make or break a hotel. There should be more than just a handful of polite employees in our opinion.

I stayed here for a week and had an ok experience. The rooms and resort grounds were nice, but the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. They were unwilling to help with changing my booking, and got annoyed when you had questions. They made us walk outside the gates to our overpriced taxi’s because they didn’t want to let them in. Overall the people there as a whole were pushy and have no idea what customer service is. They do have a really nice spa though. The food was ok, but usually bland or cold, and not fully cooked. The resort is also swarming with people asking you to buy stuff and they don’t like to take no for answer. No shuttle service either so be prepared to spend a lot on transportation if you plan on leaving the resort. Would not stay here again, but I’m glad I got to experience the country for what it was.

Awesome vacation. Staff was courteous. Hotel was updated and bery clean. Wide variety of food and delicious. Entertainment staff did a great job around pool and keeping guests happy and doing group games. They also did wonderful job in the evenings with dancing. Stephany went above and beyond to make people feel comfortable and enjoy all the activities. Everything was close and was great for kids and adults.Would recommend to all .

Our stay was nice but did not feel very welcomed. Missing a vibe especially evenings. Food could be warmer options were Ok. A la cart restaurants were not anything special. Enjoyed the sunshine pools and safety of a smaller resort.

We spent seven days in mid-January 2025 staying in the VIP rooms of building 4. We had a jacuzzi tub on our deck which was easy to fill and was always cleaned the next day by the maid service. Our room was very large and it lacked nothing. We had a quick jaunt up to the Sunset bar and pool on the top of our building which we did often. We really appreciated the beach and how many staff worked all day to keep the sargasso weeds raked up and off the property. A quick stroll to the north shows what happens when nothing is done. This made the Serenade beach totally enjoyable as was swimming in the ocean. There were no maintenance issues. Food was fun in the buffet. The Japanese and Italian restaurants were fun. The steakhouse could use a better menu and more attentive staff. By far the best restaurant was the Gourmet and it is no wonder it is hard to get reservations there. The only thing we used a credit card for was selecting wine off the wine list at dinner. The house red was just okay... We never left the property and had no desire to go on ATV tours etc. We just wanted to be spoiled and that is exactly what happened.

This is a 5 star resorts, but operates like a 3 star (that might be generous). The staff are not accommodating and seem miserable all day. The food is below average. You’re hounded to do excursions all day. It’s not worth it in my opinion. It has so much potential, but lack of care from the employees makes it hard to fully enjoy the experience. I highly recommend looking for a different resort

The Serenade Punta Cana is undeniably a stunning and well-maintained property. The grounds are immaculate, with beautiful pools. The rooms are clean and modern, and the resort offers plenty of activities and areas to relax. We took advantage of the kayaking and paddle boarding more than once. However, the dining experience fell short of expectations. While there are several dining options, the food quality was underwhelming, with many dishes lacking flavor and variety. It’s an area that could use significant improvement to match the beauty of the resort itself. As for the staff, most were friendly and accommodating, but there were notable instances where interactions felt unwelcoming. It’s possible this is more reflective of cultural differences rather than a lack of effort. Overall, while the resort has its strengths, there are areas that need attention to create a more cohesive and enjoyable guest experience.
