Many things but the biggest red flag is the SCAM they are running with Xpand membership. The hotel is giving access to these customers and they are robbing and scamming people with a smile on their face. After they sell you dreams and castle they treat you very differently. The misleading and pressure when you get there is too much every where you go in the hotel they are selling you something and want to get every person they can to scam. Horrible no peace where you were supposed to get your vacation and relax. Never again

Truly disappointed in this resort. Paid a higher rate and got a “premium” room. Private check in which I had to wait. It was comical as the front desk walked me to the private check in area and I waited when the front desk had zero people. I was like okay whatever. Got to the room and heard a mysterious sound coming from the ceiling. Instead of unpacking I called the front desk and they said they would send someone. Waited nearly one hour and decide to walk up to the lobby. Well the special check in desk was closed. Front desk person said he would send maintenance to check it out. After nearly another hour we decide not to wait and unpacked. Day 2, our last day, the sounds was there again and there was constant chairs being moved upstairs loudly. We decided to go and look and it was a patio area and the sound we heard quite loudly I may add, was the plumbing for a pool. Not a room fit for any guest. Contacted the front and they offered to move me at 4pm on my last day. I wasn’t interested in packing to move. I should have been moved on day 1 when I first reported the issue. Secondly, the buffet needs to get some control. The kids were fingering the food, ice cream up to their elbows, wiping there snotty nose on their hands and touching the food. Super gross. Sneezing and coughing all over the place. I was expecting a reduction in my room cost after this experience. Instead they were worried about collecting a small sum for laundry service.

I was charged $200 for an upgrade that was not worth it at all. The food was good. The personnel is kind, but lack training in hotel customer service.

Bed sheets were dirty and most staff did not speak English. There were bugs in the room and they did not give any amenities during our stay .

Room was very clean and modern. The shower stall was the size of a room and everything worked efficiently. The staff was very friendly and the food the best. Overall total satisfaction.

Room was nice and clean daily modern with balcony, staff very friendly and attentive and they do their best to be available to make your stay very pleasent. All the pools nice and clean and loads of choice for entertainment and food and drinks, beech was kept tidy daily it felt safe and relaxing, I highly recommend.

A couple of the staff members were absolutely amazing. They greeted us daily and ask how our day was going. Our room was very nice. 4403, ocean view. Loved having 2 bathrooms. The deck was huge and we spent 2 days out there. Very relaxing. However the gutters on the deck need to be cleaned. There were cigarette butts and garbage in the gutter. 6 of the 9 nights we had to ask the staff to bring towels, or face cloths and once left the room with no toilet paper. The resort supplied shampoo and conditioner as well as body wash and once again we had to ask them re refill. One time I left the top off the body wash and shampoo and instead of refilling they put the top back on and didn’t refill. The nightly activities were pretty good. The large screen in the theatre needs to be replaced. A portion of the screen does not work. The beach was very nice. White sand but a lot of seaweed. During our stay the buoy that designated the swimming area broke and let an an extreme amount of seaweed. The beach was covered. The resort has a tractor and 10 people out trying to keep up. They did a great job!! Last were the people offering time shares they were on us daily to sit through the sales pitch. We politely declined every time, but they continued to ask. One of the big disappointments was everything in USD. We tried to stay away from a destination that demanded USD. With the Canadian currency so bad it made things like the spa just not worth it. 80 min massage was $200 USD.
