The property itself was lovely, and the room was very nice. Overall, however, the customer service left a lot to be desired. In general, there was a lot of confusion over just about everything – tickets to the cabaret show, reservations, for dinner, which rooms to bring our luggage to. They even tried to trick us into a timeshare type talk! The food at the restaurants was mediocre, but we did really enjoy the French Restaurant. The cabaret show was a definite highlight. Overall, all the little things added up to a fairly frustrating trip, particularly at this price point. We would not go back.

I loved out buttler Norielis. She deserves 20 out of 10 starts. She made our trip special and she was the best part of our TRS turquesa experience. The hotel itself needs a remodeling. It’s really updated. Service and activities were amazing. Food and drink quality was great (in the TRS part) but is part of the resort and the quality of food and drink on the rest of the resort is not that good. Since TRS is so small you will have to use the rest of the resort which wouldn’t be an issue if it was the same quality as the TRS itself. Lots of entertaining during day and night. Awesome bed! No cold water in the room in between the hrs of 5am-6am just really hot water. The secret pool was really dirty.

We loved the many dining options and amenities offered. It was so covenient that we had a bulter, norielis, who met us at checkin and helped us book reservations and access all our services and excursions. The hotel uses whatsapp to make it so simple yo staybin contact. Norielis told us about the daily schedule for events and accomdated any questions we had. It made really made or stay stress free and we hope to come back soon

The property itself was beautiful. Except for the bartender at the swim up bar and the female bartender in the lobby, the rest of the staff we encountered were less than stellar, specifically our Butler. We had asked they set up reservations for the Mexican restaurant, steakhouse, and the Asian restaurant, however none of the reservations were made. We were very disappointed. They also dropped the ball when I requested someone come get our bags on checkout day and no one showed up. Again, disappointed. Something that we feel should change are the hours of the pool. Closing at 7PM seems a bit early for the main pool. I realize the secret pool is open until midnight but it would be nice if the main pool stayed open, even if it’s just until 10PM. Lastly, the lack of entertainment in the evening was very disappointing. There was supposed to be live piano player each night and there was one on one night only. More entertainment is needed to make and stay better.

We really enjoyed being at the TRS Turquesa. Highlights were the close blue waters at the beach, wide selection of food, and lovely staff that really cared. Downsides were that food was average, the humidity (to be expected, and the pools close pretty early- there is one that stays open until midnight. Overall a lovely experience! We had our wedding there and it went perfectly. Staff was amazing and caring when we had a medical emergency and checked up on us a lot. We would go back and loved our wedding experience there.

issues were with the sales reps coming up every 15-20 minutes asking for you to buy after you told them no multiple times, having scolding hot water and no cold water in the shower, have a roach on our balcony and the resort staff being rude and disrespectful. the restaurant staff and bar staff were the only nice interactions we had with resort staff. being told we were going for a “honeymoon tour” of the resort and find out it’s just to try and sell us a membership and then take us to breakfast and leave us there to find out own way back. then speaking with another couple that went thru the same thing and the staff told them they must be to broke to come back if they won’t sign up for the membership timeshare.

Waitstaff and bartenders were all excellent. our butler was very helpful with all of our reservations and any needs. Swim up bar bartenders and food truck waitress by rooms were very excellent and LaTorres wait staff was excellent and very helpful.

This was our 6th yearly stay at TRS. The grounds & the pools are excellently maintained. On the beach, there’s plenty of Palapa umbrellas & we've never had a problem getting one. There's been a Sargassum seaweed problem for at least our last 4 years. This is a problem throughout the Caribbean. TRS does it's best to clean the beach daily with a tractor pulling a Barber Beach Rake. All our stays have been in the March to June timeframe. From what I've read, the seaweed problem runs from March through October. There are many restaurants to choose from including those at the adjacent Palladium Resorts. We'd rate the restaurant with a range of fair to excellent. Every room has a Butler who has a block of rooms. We've had at ~ 3 different Butlers over the 6-year period. We met Randy, our Butler 3 years ago and he's by far the best one there. This year, I contacted Randy 2 weeks before our arrival & requested the same room that we had the previous year. Also, two days before our arrival, I requested to see if he could book us the Sumptuori (Hibachi) Restaurant for the 1st seating. When we arrived at TRS in the afternoon. he met us in the lobby and had reserved the room & restaurant we requested. On our 2nd day, we had problem with our showerhead water pressure & I texted Randy at 6:04 pm about the problem and when we got back from dinner @ 8:30 pm, I noticed that the shower head had been replaced. Looking forward to going back in 2026
