The house is located in the lower area of Puntagorda, a municipality located in the north-western area of the island of La Palma.
Puntagorda is a small rural municipality with a great agricultural and livestock tradition.
This municipality is characterized by the abundant buildings for agricultural use essential for the work of the peasant and which are still preserved as elements of the traditional homes on the island:
Windmills: to grind cereal, essential food for the islander's food
Pajeros: store farm tools and animals
Bodegas y Lagares: area of great grape cultivation
Water reservoirs: deposit to store rainwater
