The room was in excellent condition but check-in was a stressful ordeal since the information wasn't forwarded from hotels.com to me how to check in. The Auberge reservation contact said they never received my email or phone #. That feels like the responsibility of Hotels.com. In the future I think I will avoid booking with any self check in that doesn't have a LOCAL contact to help with various matters. We didn't feel like we had someone to guide us in parking when we arrived and our car was towed due to not understanding the snow removal policy. We didn't like the feeling of having ZERO local support.
