It was clear from the start that we chose the perfect hotel for our Quebec City stay! The staff, every one of the ladies, were incredibly welcoming and helpful and made our stay extra pleasant. Check in and out was a breeze, and luggage was taken to our room for us. The breakfast was a bonus, and more than enough to get us started on our day, with a few nice areas to sit in. The room was lovely, and quiet. The area was in the perfect location with everything walkable, and a wide choice of nearby restaurants and shopping options. We would for sure stay here again if we return to QC!

Perfect spot, clean, simple, a touch of elegance in the room and European style breakfast to start your mornings. Quiet in the evenings, close to the water, a bit of a hike to go sightseeing but let's face it, the whole city is a balance of stairs and cheese. Hike and eat. Hotel staff are really sweet. Great windows in the room - beautiful light, open screen for air if you like. You can stay in other nice hotels, but I doubt that any are much better.

Amazing Hotel - lots of stairs though

This was one of the most amazing hotel experiences I have ever had (and I own a travel agency). Awesome location, and the room was phenomenal. The only downside was the stairs. I have a spine held up by metal rods, so the stairs were difficult. Otherwise, I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Pretentious

I found that the hotel staff were pretentious and catered more to French Canadians than English speaking guests. Breakfast was not well stocked. Often had to ask for items to be refilled. Location was good for walking.

Wonderful small cozy place with soundproof rooms. We never heard anything while in our room. Very comfy beds with wonderful breakfast. Very French with lots of meat and cheese plus fresh croissants along with all the usual fixings. Loved it and would go back. Staff are very pleasant and friendly

The location is great and the room was fine. However, the shower faucet in the tiny shower cubicle was behind the glass door. Which the result, we could not let the cold water flow out before stepping into the shower. Be prepared for a cold shower followed by a hot shower. When I brought this to the attention to the person at the front desk, she didn’t have any solution except to say that all standard rooms have this shower. So beware of this!

Wonderful location - short ride from station, and on the very edge of le petit champlain (so quieter than that delightfully busy quarter) - easy walk to Museum of Civilisation (a must-visit) and the port - excellent restaurants and galleries nearby - v comfortable bed, nice room, excellent Wi-Fi - bathroom v small and washbasin in bedroom not ideal but it is an old (modernised) building so I was grateful for the en suite - v helpful, friendly staff
