Check in was expeditious and Eli was kind and welcoming. Great location. Lake view was lovely to wake up to. Highly recommend the local Forest Service trails.
Really great staff! Yes, it's older but the views from our room. Wow! Would have been nice to have a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. The Salmon House restaurant was fantastic. My wife had the broiled salmon, and it was so mild and tender. I had the tempura prawns and they were perfect. Just lightly battered.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Paid the price of a 5 star hotel but got very little back in return. Room looks old, tired and badly in need of a major update. Rusty bathroom, small tv screen hung at an awkward angle, noisy heater…
Don’t come during a holiday. Front desk forgot to include the wifi password and left early. Took a while before they responded by email. Never responded to texting and my data coverage was spotty. What good is email if I can’t get the data coverage?

Always a scenic and great time staying here. Periodic Guest for over 20 years. Staff is great, food excellent, all-in-all wonderful.
Nice and comfort inn. The room is very clean. There is a nice restaurant across the street. It is also within a walking distance to the biggest Sitka spruce tree park.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Staff was delightful (s/o Ian, so friendly) - we stayed in one of the queen beds facing towards the lake. Rooms are definitely dated & have a certain… mustiness? to them. But it’s almost befitting for the area (small, quaint town) and doesn’t detract from the stay too much. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re looking for something near the Hoh (Quinalts rainforest directly competes & is way less busy during tourist season).

It’s quite a bit of money compared to other places I’ve stayed, it’s older more rustic but 400.00$ / night?
this place is a dump from decades passed. it is the n bad need of a facelift remodel from the antiquated furnishings. also no refrigerator hair dryer or extra blankets not worthy of the cost
