Arrived for my one night stay here, and my key was ready for me at the front desk. Breakfast was delicious (waffles, bacon, eggs, fruits, deli meats/cheese, cereal, etc.). My cat battery actually after I checked out, and the front desk staff lady gave me a jump. Loved my stay here and how homey it felt.

Great spot in a remote area. The front of the property is very unassuming. The reception was always staffed and check in was quick. Rooms were good. Bathrooms were of an average size, but smaller compared to western hotels. Breakfast was convenient and tasty. Good spot that I would recommend to travelers.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. The place was modern and very clean, which made for a comfortable stay. Hotel Selja is a great place to stay on the Southern Coast of Island. The hotel is a small (12 room) facility. The rooms are modern and clean. The breakfast is also quite nice - more than we expected for a small hotel. The location is remote, quiet and beautiful!

Overall property was remote. Loved that the staff was super nice and kept the place clean. The breakfast was amazing--the coffee machine, cripsy bacon, scrambled eggs and waffle maker with the pistachio and nutella spread. The room overall was spacious for 2 big luggages. Probably the most room we've had so far in Iceland. Bathroom was big. Just one thing-- hopefully they keep up with the cleanliness of the sink and shower. There were some mold and rust around the grout of the shower and sink area. Overall, the place was very cozy and clean.
