Another couple and my husband and I both booked online and when we arrived at the hotel we were told we had to be taken to another hotel down the road. This was inconvenient as all of our friends were staying at this hotel. I would have preferred to be told there was no vacancy but it seems they would rather mislead you then lose the booking. Just confirm with them after you book. The standard of the room for the cost was inferior, although it was clean and a reasonable size. Had no milk so the tea and coffee they provided was no use to us.

Kia Orana, thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. This is certainly not the standard of service we want any of our guest to experience. and would like to sincerely apologies for the inconvenience. Our reservations system is now updated to prevent such bookings in future but hope you loved your holiday in the Cook Islands. Kia Manuia,

Friendly and great food. Only issue was noise. As an airport hotel the very noisy bar area right by the rooms meant that it was difficult to sleep

Thank you for your review. The Hula Bar on the beach has a live band from 9pm to 11.30pm Mon to Sat. The rest of the day is very quiet. Our restaurant is very popular with locals and visitors.

The staff are friendly and very helpful, no request was ever too big. The room we stayed in was lovely and well presented and serviced daily. The food is simply amazing and so delicious. The evening cocktail drinks were just divine and the music just added a little bit extra to the island getaway ambiance. We would have been happy to leave with just this experience but what topped it off for us were the spectacular sightings of the whales swimming and playing just past the reef right in front of the hotel, simply beautiful.

Booked and paid for 3 rooms in April and when we arrived just prior to 11,00pm the hotel advised they had no rooms for us. The rooms were $200 per night and they offered alternative accommodation across the road in 4 bunk beds. We were told one room in the hotel would be available around 1.00am and we would have to wait for it to be serviced.

Thank you for your review. Our team members are great. We are renovating the property in sections to present a beautiful tropical product.

The pool closed at 6pm which is far to early, and the spa wasn't open once during our say. There was no information of either of these things. Everytime I asked the front desk staff they seemed to be annoyed by it. Not impressed at all.

Thank you for your review. We close the pool to children who love to dive and splash about since our dinner service starts at this time. Our swimming pool is located in the middle of our outdoor waterfront dining restaurant. The spa is open - Mon to Sat from 8am to 5pm. The spa is very popular and slots are quickly filled up days ahead, in which case we are happy to refer you to other spas on Rarotonga. Guests are welcome to book directly with the spa located adjacent Room 5.

Could not fault the staff in any way. Breakfast buffet and lunch buffet not very hot, and quite poor. The meals from the menu fabulous. Clean roomsa and bathrooms. Disappointed that the web page shows sun loungers by the sea, but that is not true. No swimming allowed on the beach, to rocky and no loungers, you have to take a bus to the beach or to another resort. Pool is placed in the centre of the restraunt so not very nice for people eating, then you have to troop outside to the tables with umbrellas to dry of. Bar neefs updating, but good atmosphere. Would stay again but only for 1or 2 nights

Thank you for staying with us. Sunloungers have been relocated to our other properties with beach-lagoon access. Buffet meals are designed to feed large volumes. Our menu offers individually prepared meals that delight.

no beach

Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: lounger chairs, soap holder in shower
Location: It is not beachfront so you have to travel to get to a sandy beach. Handy to most things as the bus passes by every half hour.
This is not a beach front hotel. The rooms are noisy at night because they are right next door to the bar although it closes down at 11.30. Some lounger chairs would be ideal to relax in rather than bbq tables. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable.
