Front desk staff was very nice and helpful at check in. The property itself was dirty. The pool had old rotten food and trash sitting on the chairs and the carpet looked like it’s never been cleaned. The staff that was maintaining the breakfast area was rude and was throwing dishes around when cleaning.

Duped by online property pictures! Never again!

We were duped believing the pictures on this hotel site provided an accurate description of this property. Unfortunately, this property with the exception of the lobby is a dump. There was overflowing garbage outside by the pool at all times, as if no one picks it up. Walking through the property to our room. I noticed diatrnnacious earth (for bugs) sprinkled along the rug line and the baseboards on first floor. In our room the toilet moved whenever you used it because it wasn’t secured to the floor, and the seat was broken not to mention there was other people‘s hair all over the floor and shower upon our arrival. Day 2, we received no maid service and when I went to the front desk to ask for towels, there was a lady requesting that someone come to clean blood and hair from a bathtub in her room. The front desk clerk was visibly annoyed and handed the woman a spray bottle and an old washcloth and said “here you go!” I couldn’t believe that the front desk clerk expected the guest to clean blood-borne pathogens in these disgusting rooms that were left from the previous guest. Breakfast was like a free-for-all with people putting 12 to 15 pieces of bacon on their plates, piling their plates and walking back to their rooms. They could’ve had healthier choices, other than eggs, folded into shapes, greasy bacon and sugar cereals.. Needless to say we won’t be returning and the likelihood that you could bedbugs is high. Come on La Quinta you can do better! Run down property!

The carpet in our rooms was absolutely disgusting. We had mold stains on the pillow cases. The mini fridge was filthy. My 3 year old nephew sliced his finger open on a broken chair in the room.

Staff Nice, but Property is old and run down

The staff were very nice, but the propery is run down. Half of the lights in my room didn't work. The fridge sounded like an airplane and there are very few outlets to charge electronics. The ice maker in the hallway made ice that tasted bad.

We actually went to another hotel after checking in. Our room wreaked of pot terribly! Everything looks dirty. We saw Bugs on floor. Carpet stained. Hotel is in very poor condition and the worst I've ever encountered.

Staff Ariel was wonderful. I reserved an accessible room and when i checked in it had no shower curtain, had mold in several areas of the bathroom, filthy chair a ripped chair and was generally unclean and no phone to call out. I let staff know and was moved to a different room that was clean and fresh. It was sad that the only accessible room was so unattended to and out dated. It was a regular room with grab bars in the bathroom with a regular step over tub. I would not stay at this hotel again due to those factors. I do want to stress that the staff person was wonderful and helpful and kind. She took my concern and did something to remedy the situation.

This hotel is nothing like in the pictures. The room was old. The bathroom cabinet surround was peeling. The sink and bathtub had rust and was chipped. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Hotel was very noisy at all hours of the day, especially early morning and late at night. Breakfast was very dismal. Do yourself a favor, spend a little more and stay at an actual hotel.

Good night stay

Hotel was comfortable and clean. A good place to stay. Breakfast could be improved with better meal selection and presentation. Food was crammed in the same food holder and wasnt refreshed or tended to by kitchen staff. Property is located in a maintained area of town with many national brand stores to shop at within 2 miles of property. There is a Cattleman's steakhouse next door to hotel that serves quality steaks and a variety of other foods.

They don’t change the bedding every day. There’s a sign in the bathroom, in order to save water, the bedsheets and towels might be changed every three days!!! Means we the bedding and towels are all used by more than three people! Can you imagine how dirty it is!

Great price for what you get. They have free breakfast that’s an actual breakfast (eggs, potatoes, sausage) and other options like waffles, yogurt, muffins fruit. The front desk is helpful. Upon checking into our room there was a musty smell and they seamlessly moved us into another room that smelled fine. It was clean and comfy. It feels safe here. The pool is nice. I’ve stayed here twice now, and will again. Work out room isn’t in operating condition. With all these I’d highly recommend this place to anyone on a budget that also wants something that’s good enough. They don’t take a security deposit which is a relief cuz other places have high deposits. No bugs. No sketchy people. I’m happy with my stay overall.

Great place to stay.

My wife and I drove to Redding, from San Jose, to pick up our new car at a dealer there who had the exact car/color & price we wanted. We decided to make it an overnight getaway, so we booked a room at La Quinta. The room was large, bright and clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a TV, microwave, fridge, iron/ironing board and hair dryer. The AC/heater unit was very quiet. I didn't wake us up every time it went on. The staff was friendly, and check in and out was easy Breakfast was great with a variety of items to choose from. I would stay here again.
