My experience

I went there with my family for a few days at the beach but we were not really satisfied because we asked the front office in the morning before leaving for the beach to clean our room and were surprised in the evening to see an unclean room with no towels!! The lady was not so nice and didn’t apologize in the first place . Also they need to really improve the breakfast!!! I paid my money for nothing!! Did not eat breakfast at all !!!!

Dear Econo lodge Management, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent check-in at your hotel on August 8th in room 234. The conditions I encountered were unacceptable and significantly impacted the quality of my stay. Firstly, the room was not only dirty but also unsafe. There were stains on the bedding, the bathroom was unsanitized, and the lock on the sliding door was falling off the hinges. Additionally, the state of the lobby was appalling. It was filthy and had a horrible smell that permeated the entrance, creating a very poor first impression. Stains on the ceiling, rugs and furniture dirty and outdated. I hope you will take these complaints seriously and take appropriate action to address these issues.

Can’t beat it for the price.

We had a wonderful week there, me and my 3 kids. The room we had was just remodeled. Only thing I wish we would have had was a better tv that didn’t have lines in it, cable or the option to use streaming services. The pool was very clean, warm and the kids loved it. The breakfast was sub par- the butter was not good, the juice tasted stale or something was off. But for the price and location I will be staying here again with my kids. We had a wonderful week. Stayed Mon-fri. Staff was friendly, helpful and quick. The last night we had a water leak in the bathroom from the upstairs room and they came within 10-15 min to look at it. Will be booking next year for a week. I know some rooms are still being remodeled so they were not as nice as ours, we definitely got lucky and our room was right by parking for easy access.

Not happy

Air conditioner leaked the entire time. Had to keep putting towels down and three buckets under it so it didn’t leak all over the floor and we didn’t fall. Cleaning lady kept saying they’d come fix it but leaked nonstop. When we first got there the shower curtain had black mold and stained pink all over it. Had to ask cleaning people from other floors a couple times for towels, garbage bags and toilet paper when they didn’t show up. Our keys never worked and we had to keep going to the front desk for new keys. The balcony door only had one screw in it so I didn’t want to lock. The freezer didn’t want to keep things frozen. And the hardwood floors as soon as we walked in were sticky and sandy. Not happy for the amount of money we spent.

Entire building smelling like Marijuana. The stairs handrails are half screwed in the wall half hanging off. Only one of my keys worked. My bathroom had no shower curtain after asking for it I never received one. Bedrooms were outdated furniture inside was falling apart due to how old and worn out it was. Mirrors falling apart, every time you flushed the toilet water squirted out the back on to the floor and the carpet was so old lifting up in some areas of the room at times it felt like I was walking on cement. It was just a terrible experience for us. I feel like this place could do better for its good location.

The first room they gave us was unacceptable. I could not stay there. They did refund that room and we had to stay somewhere else that first night. They moved us to a newer part of the hotel for the last 2 night which was better. They pool closed at 8 that was a downside too.

Don’t stay here. Rooms smell disgusting and are not clean. I spent 5 minutes in my room on a 2 night stay and they wouldn’t refund me!!

The location of the hotel was excellent. However, the room condition was terrible. There was a strong smell of mold, and the dust on the floor and ceiling made it very difficult to sleep. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.
