This detached holiday home/chalet for a maximum of 6 people is located on a hill (1763 m) in a quiet place in the forest in Turracher Höhe / Reichenau plain in Carinthia, which offers the Alm-See plateau with 3 mountain lakes on the Carinthian border with Styria a beautiful view of the Nockberge.

The holiday home/chalet has a cozy living room with dining table and seating area, an open, modern, well-equipped kitchen, 3 spacious bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a balcony, terrace and a large garden. The holiday home/chalet also offers a washing machine and parking facilities directly at the house.

The Turracher Höhe is located 50 km northeast of Spittal, directly on the border between Styria and Carinthia in the Gurktal Alps. It offers family-friendly hiking trails, idyllic mountain lakes and a breathtaking panorama.

The Turracher Höhe ski area is a small, fine family ski area between Carinthia and Styria in the Southern Alps and offers 43 kilometers of slopes and 16 cable cars and ski lifts. Other neighboring ski areas are the Kreischberg ski area in St. Lorenzen am Kreischberg with 42 kilometers of slopes, the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area with over 100 kilometers of slopes and the Katschberg ski area in Lungau with 80 kilometers of slopes.

Volgens instructie hadden we 48 uur voor aankomst contact gezocht met de beheerder, echter op deze mail werd niet gereageerd. Bij aankomst was er dan ook niemand. Toen de beheerder gebeld, die niet vond dat we mochten bellen dat Belvilla gewoon de kluiscode voor de sleutel had moeten geven. Niet leuk aankomen zo. Het huisje zelf is erg fijn, ruim genoeg voor met zijn tweeën en de hond. Keuken is wel klein en geschikt om simpele maaltijden te bereiden. Met de houtkachel konden we het 's avonds lekker warm krijgen in het huisje. Ligging is erg mooi, hoog in de bergen in de natuur. Mooi meer te bewandelen op 5 minuten afstand. Minpuntje was dat de wifi instabiel was. Dit kon wellicht ook liggen aan de twee bewakingscamera's aan het schuurtje die gestreamed werden via dezelfde internetlijn. Ondanks wat ziekte hebben we hier toch twee heerlijke weken gehad!
