The Guesthouse – Pool, Hot Tub & Near Casinos

Tucked away on a 7.5-acre ranch, this private one-bedroom guesthouse is the perfect mix of mid-century modern and rustic ranch charm. Wake up with coffee on one of two decks, spend your day lounging by the pool or soaking in the hot tub, and wind down with a glass of wine at sunset, soaking in the best views on the property. Even though you’re just minutes from downtown and the casinos, it feels like a peaceful countryside escape—a hidden gem for a relaxing getaway.



Situated in the heart of South Reno, our ranch provides a peaceful escape while offering easy access to dining, entertainment, hiking, skiing, and the stunning shores of Lake Tahoe. Revel in the best of all worlds: Enjoy Reno’s vibrant culture and nightlife, take a short drive to the picturesque shores of Lake Tahoe, indulge in outdoor activities like hiking and skiing, or simply stay in to relax and have fun at the ranch.

Guests may access the pool area, the two fire lounges, the garden space and the shared laundry room located downstairs in the same building as the Guesthouse.



The barns are not accessible to guests at this time.

The guesthouse does not have a TV but we for have a projector that will connect to your phone or laptop.



The coffee maker is a Nespresso machine that takes Vertuo pods. We provide a starter hot beverage kit with 4 regular coffee pods, a few cream and sugar packets, and black tea. Guests will need to bring or purchase additional coffee pods and supplies if needed.



There may be times when we have work going on at the ranch. The barns are still under construction, however we do our best to schedule work when we do not have guests staying at the ranch.



The pool and outdoor space is a shared with all guests and residents of Sierra River Ranch.



Liability Release and Waiver Agreement

By booking and staying at Sierra River Ranch, all guests, agree to the following terms and conditions:



Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that your stay at Sierra River Ranch may involve certain risks, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, illnesses, or loss of personal property. You voluntarily assume all such risks associated with your stay.



Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Sierra River Ranch, the property owner, and any affiliated parties from any and all claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from any injury, loss, damage, or death that may occur during your stay at Sierra River Ranch, regardless of the cause.



Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and defend Sierra River Ranch and any affiliated parties against all claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or resulting from your stay at Sierra River Ranch.



Use of Property: You agree to use the property and its amenities in a safe and responsible manner. You understand and agree to follow any instructions or rules provided by Sierra River Ranch during your stay.



Personal Property: You are responsible for the security of your personal belongings during your stay. Sierra River Ranch is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to your personal property.



Legal Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations during your stay at Sierra River Ranch.



Acknowledgment of Understanding: By booking this property, you acknowledge that you have read and fully understand this Liability Release and Waiver Agreement, and that you are signing it freely and voluntarily.

Burning Man Guests

If you are staying with us after attending Burning Man, an additional $400 cleaning fee will apply to your reservation and be collected after confirmation. This fee is non-refundable and helps cover the extra time, services, and blocked nights required to properly clean and reset the property. An agreement outlining post–Burning Man procedures will also be sent to you and must be signed prior to your stay.
