Brand new villa in picturesque village!

Casa Di Kapaka is a one-storey 300.m² beautiful villa that was originally built in the 1980s but refurbished in 2022. It is situated in a small traditional village called Roupes, next to the well-known picturesque village of Skouloufia.
Located 17km away from the city of Rethymno, the villa offers outstanding views of Cretan nature, as well as full tranquility in a relaxing setting. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to interact with the locals and experience Cretan hospitality for yourself!

The Villa has 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 WC and can accommodate 7 people.

-Indoor layout-

As you enter the villa, you will find a large open-plan living area that includes two sofas, two arm chairs with coffee tables, a fireplace, a 55-inch HDTV smart TV, air conditioning, an indoor dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen.

A hallway leads to a double bedroom with air conditioner, a bedroom with two single beds and air conditioner, a bathroom with shower and washing machine, and a bathroom with WC.
Moreover, there is a master bedroom with a KING double bed and air conditioning, as well as one bedroom with one single bed both of which have direct access to the outdoor space.


-Outdoor area-

A beautifully landscaped outdoor area of the villa provides a variety of relaxation spots.

More specifically our outdoor facilities include:
- A 24sq. m swimming pool
- The pool area is equipped with sun beds, bean bag loungers, and umbrellas
- BBQ area with all the necessary equipment
- Outdoor dining area by the barbecue for up to 7 people
- Outdoor living area with sofas and Coffee table

*LOCATION*
The village of Roupes is situated in a peaceful location south west of Rethymno town. The surrounding area itself has a lot to offer. You can tour the nearby local villages and get a taste of how the Greeks live and experience Greek hospitality.
This area is paradise for anyone who loves to explore nature. There are numerous caves nearby. There are the impressive Melidoni and Zoniana caves and the Ideon Andro cave, which was seemingly the birthplace of the Greek God Zeus in accordance to Greek Mythology.
Only 5 km from your villa, the amazing ruins of the Ancient city of Eleftherna are a must to visit. 
At a distance of only 6,8 km from your villa you will discover the Monastery of Arkadi. This famous monastery is of particular importance to not only the people in the district of Arkadi, but to all the inhabitants of Crete.
Also Rethymno town is easy to reach, being only 18km from Roupes. It is about a 15 minute drive along the highway to reach the town centre. Here you will find the local hospital, post office, large super markets and lots of shops.  This charming town maintains its aristocratic appearance, with its buildings dating from the 16th century, arched doorways, stone staircases, Byzantine and Hellenic-Roman remains and small picturesque Venetian harbor. There are numerous museums and an imposing fortress looking over the old town.
Lastly the old town is where you will find an array of nightlife, from lively little bars and restaurants in the narrow streets to relaxing waterfront cafes.
