Disappointing start but enjoyed our stay

Arrived late at night to be told we were booked into a studio room even though we had booked and paid for a sea view apartment. Then after a phone call to the manager we were told we could have the apartment but would have to pay extra for it, eventually we were shown to our apartment and told the manager would sort it out the next day. This was a really upsetting start to our stay at Esperia, after a long day travelling we just wanted to check in and relax not argue about which room we had booked and paid for. No-one mentioned our room again, no apology or anything. Also we had to pay 50 euros for a late check out which seemed a little high. Also there is no iron/ironing board or microwave as stated in room description. Make sure you take your printed confirmation with you if staying. Apart from this upsetting start we enjoyed our stay at Esperia, nice apartment cleaned everyday by a lovely lady. Lovely views from the balcony, watched some great sunsets. Lovely friendly staff in the bar.

Really enjoyed are stay here . Great location just on the edge of the bissy strip. Nice walk in to town. Straight across from the beach. Just think that they should of provided some cleaning products. All in all had a great time here.

Great staff, good location and excellent view

We had a great stay at Esperia! We arrived late our first day and there was some trouble with our room, so we got 1 night at a nearby 4* hotel, and they were professional about it. The next day with got our room as promised. We had booked a room with Sea-View and the view was amazing. There are many "beach hotels", but most of them are not sea front. Esperia is absolutely sea front and 20 meters from the beach. Hotel staff and beach staff were very friendly. The room was clean and in a good condition. Daily cleaning and changing of towels on request was done well. The included breakfast was quite basic, but filled our needs for a morning snack. Situated at the end of the main road there are several places to go out for lunch and dinner nearby, and taxi to the city center is just a few euros. To walk to the center it is about 20 minutes, but can be a nice walk. There are a few supermarkets close by as well that would cover most needs for snacks and drinks. At the time we booked the hotel had 1* on the site, but it apparently is a 3* hotel, which was a pleasant surprise, and it in no way fits the 1* category. We would definitely come back!

Also der Service war klasse und die Reinigung täglich und klasse da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Leider war das Appartement nicht so klasse Möbel waren teilweise kaputt oder hatten einen Wasserschaden der Kühlschrank war alt und nicht schön essen lagern nur in Folie möglich ... Das Bad war absolut hinüber... Dusche ohne Halterung gammelige Zettel hingen dort man konnte nicht mal lesen was da mal stand ... also generell bin ich nicht pingelig aber das war eben nicht mehr schön ... da wir die meiste Zeit am Strand und unterwegs waren auch nie selbst gekocht haben( wäre auch nicht möglich gewesen da nichts da war wo man hätte was drin kochen können) war es dennoch ein schöner Urlaub. Nur das nächste mal wird es sicher ein anderes Hotel.

Eher für Partygänger mit wenig Ansprüchen

Wir suchten das Hotel wegen der Lage am Strand aus.Die Bilder der Zimmer waren auch ansprechend.Als wir ankamen dauerte es lange,bis wir einchecken konnten.Das Zimmer war nicht sauber.Mein Kopfkissen war beschmutzt,musste dies tauschen.Die WC-Türe liess sich nur halb öffenen.Die Zimmer müssten dringend renoviert werden.In der Nacht hatten wir bis morgens 2:00Uhr Lärmbeläsitigung durch laute Musik und Urlaubern,welche dauernd die Türen zuschlugen.Das Frühstück war o.k.Nach der 2.Nacht buchten wir ein anderes Hotel,da wir nachts gern Ruhe haben.Ein Zimmerwechsel kam für uns nicht in Frage,da das Lärmproblem trozdem noch vorhanden gewesen wäre.Auf meine Nachfrage hin gab es keine freien Zimmer mehr.Wir hätten noch mit dem Manager sprechen sollen,aber dies kam nicht zustande.Es ist schade,denn mit einigen Renovierungsarbeiten hätte dieses Hotel wieder Potential,da die Lage ja super ist.

Super Hotel, Super Lage, Super freundlich

Das Hotel ist super, direkt am Strand, sodass man Abends nur die Wellen rauschen hört. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sodass eine familiäre Atmosphähre entstand. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, alles was wir brauchten war direkt vor Ort. Insgesammt war das einer der entspannnensten Urlaube die ich je gemacht habe und auch jeder Zeit wieder machen werde.

Kommer ikke tilbake.

Hadde et helt ok opphold, med en del ting som trakk ned. Vi kom på hotellet midt på dagen og resepsjonisten var overhygheligg, men etter å ha gått over rommet fant vi en del småting som virkelig må forbedres. Mugg på dusjforhenget og ellers rundt badekaret, og bassenget så ut som det ikke hadde vært rengjort i løpet av sesongen. Frokosten var helt ok, juice(saft) og brød med ost, skinke eller syltetøy. Det sto at frokosten var inkludert i oppholdet, men vi måtte betale 7€ ekstra per natt for å få den. Resepsjonisten mistet fort smilet da vi kom opp med hørføneren som ikke funket. Sto at rommet skulle være med havutsikt, men da vi åpnet altandøren var det som å sitte ved bassenget, og utsikten var rett i en murkant. Kommer nok ikke tilbake igjen.

we were brought to another hotel finally

I book a room in this hotel with kitchen and pool side but at last we've got a room with no kitchen and no pool side even not in this hotel in the second night , instead is a hotel over the street called "Anita hotel" , ( The first night we strongly request one with kitchen because we bought some food to cook already )the in-charge told us no more room in this hotel so we gotta stay in his uncle's hotel.

Koselig hotell på stranda

Koselig lite familiehotell ved stranda. Vi spiste frokost hver dag på balkongen med nydelig utsikt over stranda. Hotellet har egne senger på stranda med servering. Stranda er langgrunn og det er fine muligheter til å gå tur på den 11 km lange stranda. Hotellet har snackbar og verdens hyggligste bartender, Mario, som sørger for at du får deg en Ozo når du trenger det eller en sinnsykt god Gyros. Hotellet er familliedrevet og hotelleier Nic og resten av familien sørger for at du føler deg som hjemme. Det tar ca 25 minutter å gå til gamlebyen eller 2 minutter med taxi (5 EUR). Ellers er det spisesteder hele veien inn til sentrum. Vi spiste i nærheten av hotellet flere dager. Dette er et hotell vi vil komme tilbake til.
