The place was quite decent. The staff were spectacular. The included breakfast was fantastic. The only problem - there were a number of late night bars near the hotel that didn't close until 2 or 3 am. Those bars were very noisy and loud through to the early morning hours. A problem not really caused by the hotel, but unfortunately sleep was often interupted late into the night.

Me and my husband spent 6 nights at this hotel and we had a great time. The hotel is in the city centre: it is very easy to reach lots of bus stops from there. The rooms are quite big, warm and cleaned every time you ask for. Breakfast is nice, I would suggest it should start at 6.00 am and not 7.00, as many tours start at 7.00. Anyway, they allow you to have a very early breakfast if you ask for, with croissants and hot drinks. It was a really nice stay!

This is a basic hotel geared towards younger travelers. It’s located in the heart of Reykjavik so it can be a little loud in the evening due to restaurants/bars around. Walking distance to everything (about 3 min walk to bus tour pick up spot). Breakfast was included which is a huge plus if you’re traveling on a budget. The best part, however, the hotel staff. Hands down the nicest, accommodating, helpful staff I’ve seen in a looong time. They would be the main reason I would stay here again.

Great friendly staff! Hotel is a block from row of shops & restaurants. Room is rather small but I guess typical of European hotels.
