Nice modern comfortable hotel, excellent breakfast, but no restaurant (although there are many within a minutes walk) and rooms at the front suffer from lots of street noise (you may have difficulty sleeping!).

The check in staff at he front desk was miscommuicating. I arrived early and asked for an early check in. She said about 30 minutes. Went back after 30 minutes, was told they were in the room now. Went back 30 minutes and was told it wasn't ready and changed my room with attitude and gave me a different room, I expect was a downgrade. I didn't mind waiting, it was their lack of honesty that bothered me.

Family first trip to Iceland

I would like to start off saying that the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to check us in earlier than normal. We had a very early check out and I was happy to see that there was an attendant there at 3am. Our room was nice and we loved the view. However, we were not fans of the size of the bathroom. The shower was very tight space. I had to let the staff know that the door handle and the know in the sink were very loose. We liked the area where the hotel was located. I wish there was hotel parking. We had a good stay.

This is my second review of this hotel. At my last stay I had a good room and nothing really to complain about. This time I was put in the really odd room. I believe the room number was 241, but I could be wrong. It was right next to the elevators, which worried me a little at first, but turned out not to be noisy at all. The weird thing about the room is that there is a huge skylight in the ceiling of the bathroom which wouldn't be an issue if the door to the bathroom was not made out of opaque glass. With June sunlight being almost 24 hours a day, the room stayed bright all night long. I only stayed for 1 night, wasn't really worth asking to change the room in the middle of the night, I would definitely ask for a different room if I was staying longer.
