Super nice staff though I never met them. Speedy response and friendly over the phone. The location is good with the historical scenery behind. The room was on two levels that might be a problem if you have mobility issues. It was fine, although it is older and has suffered wear and tear. It's a handy location, that does outweigh any specific issues. The check-in was fine, this seems to be how most places work that are not hotels. The Duus restaurant is under the same roof and had a sociable atmosphere with tasty food. We thought the menu was expensive, but it was pretty much the same as any restaurant in Iceland There's plenty of parking at the front.

It’s a bit funky and the room was very small. We had difficulty with the code door more than once. Walls were thin and we could hear others. There was street noise even though it’s not in a very populated area. It’s all self check-in so there was no one around for help or to ask questions. There’s a TV, but there was no way to watch any thing. Internet was spotty and unreliable. Conveniently located near the airport, reasonably clean and priced.

Do not stay here and be careful booking! We were charged twice for the same room and they would not refund. Only 2 small pillows and 2 blankets for 3 people. Nobody at the front desk day or night. Self check-in after making several phone calls and emails. Just terrible.
