Staff very friendly and helpful. Lobby area and breakfast is very good. Location excellent. I selected a single room as I was traveling solo and the room was very small and dark on the lowest level of the hotel. I would not have selected this room had I known this situation. Next time I would select a double room. Just an FYI. I was so busy seeing the sites I didn’t spend much time there so it was not a problem. Overall I would recommend this hotel

Good hotel in a great spot by the famous church

Very good. Spent 4 nights. The hotel happily relocated us to a double room from a twin with views of the church. Breakfast had variety and set us up for our trips. The room was snug and clean. The reception staff were helpful and kind.

The location was great, but the facilities themselves are not good. The bathroom is terrible. It floods completely when you shower. The shower is so small you cannot move. The water stinks. The room is very drafty and you can hear everything outside the hotel as if it is occurring in your room. I would not stay at this hotel ever again.

Excellent staff, very nice breakfast, clean hotel, centrally located. Main complaint, really, is the lack of an elevator (difficult when arriving/leaving with heavy bags). Also, few tour operators pick up in that area for some reason. It's near a highly touristic area full of shops and restaurants, and that was nice. Would use it again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Leifur Eiriksson. The room was perfect for a rest between sightseeing and the hotel was very conveniently located near a bus stop and multiple sights.
