Beautiful hotel! It was convenient to attractions! The tv got only 5 channels and breakfast was not included. For the cost I would think they could offer more!

Love Love Love!

Amazing hotel! The best one we stayed at in Iceland. Love the hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge into the glacier lagoon if you are brave enough! The restaurant was great too.

It's the perfect place to stay after driving the south coast of Iceland. I've never felt so relaxed and at home at a hotel before. The gym and hot tub outside were the best.

This was, without a doubt, the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Hótel Jökulsárlón exceeded every expectation and delivered an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We genuinely wish we had extended our stay instead of continuing further east—leaving was the only disappointment. The amenities were incredible: from cold plunging in the lagoon to warming up in the sauna and soaking in the hot tub, it was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. The on-site restaurant was equally impressive—easily one of the best meals we had in Iceland, and we highly recommend dining there. The staff was also exceptional—friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. Everything about this stay was top-tier. If you’re planning a trip near Jökulsárlón, do yourself a favor and book more than one night here. You won’t regret it.

Modern stylish hotel. Excellent bar and restaurant with professional friendly staff. The hot tubs and sauna area is great for relaxing muscles and meeting new friends. The room was well thought out and the beds comfortable. We would stay here again.

This was among a short list of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a long jaunt there from the golden circle but absolutely worth it. The hotel was swanky and sexy and had a great bar and restaurant, classy and modern decor, a fabulous outdoor sauna and hot tubs and shower, and high ceilings and an airy “with nature” feel. The view was beautiful and the location was great for any exploration on the glacier.

Beautiful property! We ended up spending the day there when a tour was cancelled. Food was great, love the hot tubs! Wish they had some board games to play...and that there were other options for eating nearby as the hotel food was pricey. Staff was AMAZING!

We spent 1 night here on our road trip along the south coast and we wish we had stayed longer. The views from every window was sublime, and the photos on their website of the outdoor hot tubs and sauna do not do it justice. We particularly enjoyed the different pockets of area to sit and just enjoy the views. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent quality. Rooms were quiet, clean, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable.

Everything about this place is outstanding! If you’re considering a stay here, do yourself a favor and book an extra night - our only regret was not having more time in this incredible place! The staff is exceptional, the bar cocktails are out of this world, the bartenders are so friendly and made the best drinks we had the whole trip. The sauna, hot tub and views are stunning and it was so relaxing to enjoy those features. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable with additional stunning views. We’d stay here again and again!

My husband and I stayed here on the tail end of our honeymoon. The property is gorgeous, the views are stunning, and the hotel itself is very nice (and new). We enjoyed that I was in a more remote location which gave us great views of the northern lights from our window and the parking lot. If you are thinking of booking, it’s worth the extra for the glacier view, breathtaking is the only way to describe it. The only “complaint” I would say was the food at the only restaurant. You are limited to the bar or the one sit down restaurant, the first night we ate at the bar and the food was phenomenal… the second night we did the sit down and the food was mediocre at best… we had the steak and lamb, which was not worth the price. Overall I would recommend the hotel for sure based on views and location!
