Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was good and so was the coffee. Dining area was modern and relaxing. Employees that we did come across were very nice. Coffee in the room was better than most of the coffee places in my town. The pool area had plenty of towels and they kept it clean despite people leaving garbage everywhere. We were excited about the hot tub but it wasn't open as of March 30th. We would definitely come back to this place.

We stayed at the hotel while my mom was at Kadlec. The room was comfortable but the service was not so good. We arrived to the room at 8pm to a smoke detector battery alert going off. We called the front desk who came and changed the battery. The next night, the smoke detector battery alarm was going off again. We called the front desk and was informed we had to come downstairs to get the batteries and replace them ourselves because there was only one employee and no maintenance staff on duty. We replaced the batteries ourselves and still the alarm was going off. We called the front desk again and was told to remove the smoke detector and take it to the front desk. We stayed in the room with no smoke detector. When we went to check out of the hotel and express our concerns, there was no one at the front counter and after waiting 10 minutes we left. More employees would have made this stay better.

Room number 1 was dirty, purchased my own cleaning supplies and came back to clean it myself. Water would not get even luke warm. Called front desk and told them I had the water running for about 15 minutes before, I was asked to wait 30 minutes. I asked to be moved. Very inconvenient. I had hopes to get a room that was clean, without cob webs, cracks in the wall and a door that would close properly. 2nd room was identical but had an extra chair. The maintenance and upkeep is severely lacking, simple things like new caulking and correct plumbing work would go a long ways. This room had a shower head that wasn’t on properly, the toilet was leaking and there was mold in the grout. The “blanket” is so cheap and thin I woke up cold and had to put on extra layers. I was honestly too exhausted to move again, I was only here for that night. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, I have no idea how it had good reviews. I think the motel 6 looked in better condition.

We have stayed in a lot of places over the last 2 years; this was the first Hotel that we didn't have any issues with what so ever. Very friendly staff, very clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The pillows were so amazing. We had 1 little suggestion to have at least second trash can in the room.

Key card wasn’t working to get ice, went to the office and waited 5 minutes for someone to come out, only to be met with attitude and her acting like I should have known it wasn’t working, even though no sign was posted.

Mediocre

The room was overly hot, the ac didn’t seem to want to stay on to help cool the room down. The walls were so thin you could hear everything from the rooms next to you, down to a vibration of the rooms next doors phone. The smoke detectors weren’t working. The rooms were nice and we were so thankful we were only staying the one night.

We knew the pool was closed for the season, but when we arrived, the hot tub was not working and they didn't expect it to be fixed for 2-more months. Also, the sauna wasn't working. The photo of the fire pit and deck must belong to the restaurant because there certainly was no nice outdoor seating area available for guests. The rooms are directly open to the outdoors with curtains that don't close properly so people walking by can see into your room. The rooms are also very small and we literally had to take turns getting dressed. There was no closet for the clothes, just an open air hook. No hooks in the bathroom to hand anything while you're showering. Sketchy people in the parking lot and people coming and going all night. Only redeeming quality was that you could walk to the river.
