This home was perfect for our family ‘meet up’. The open concept made it feel spacious and the decor is welcoming. The beds were comfortable and it made a difference not having to pack towels and paper essentials. We also liked that the home was central to restaurants and little sight seeing drives for our ‘Senior’ family members.

We needed a place for the week as close as possible to Randolph Macon college, this was the most perfect, cozy home. We enjoyed our stay there. House was perfect size, nice and cool during the hot summer week. The house was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone anytime. Our host Heather was very responsive and helped set up everything that was needed.

Overall we had a great stay. The house was clean and comfortable with good amenities. The location was perfect for visiting King's Dominion. I was worried when I received emails from VRBO a few days before my trip but they didn't include check-in information. It was difficult to contact Heather through VRBO messaging, but once she called and texted me the communication improved. She was able to explain that she would text me the door code once the cleaners had finished at the property and it was ready for check in and that is exactly what happened.

Super clean but very noisy

Probably one of the nicest VRBO's we have stayed in. Unfortunately the back yard in on a state highway with constant high speed traffic and trucks use air brakes to slow down. The listing description is inaccurate. It is not quiet. There wasn't even any outdoor furniture in the back. Makes sense, ti's too noisy to sit outside. Bring your ear plugs or loud noise maker if you stay here. If noise doesn't bother you, it is a nice place.

I was stressed that I did not have entrance code until a few minutes before I arrived. Our friends arrived before us and had to wait to get in as I couldn't send them the code!Send or listing door locking (from outside) information would have been helpful rather than trial and error.
