Lackluster and Dirty

The location was good for what we needed, but the hotel was very lackluster. The floors and furniture were not very clean. The bathroom fixtures were OLD and rusted, and the tile in the shower needed a good scrub. We killed several bugs in our room, but we were on the ground floor. You have to ask at the front desk for silverware/kitchen items, which is fine, but the first time I asked, the employee didn't have a clue what I was talking about. Thankfully, the employee in the morning was MUCH more helpful. However, the dishes I received were not very clean either. I would NOT stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

The hotel canceled our reservation, leaving us with no place to stay when w arrived at 1am, after i called to let them know we were arriving late because w were driving from South Jersey 4.5 hrs.

Not again.

First I want to give credit where credit is due. The staff is good. When you can find them, they’re very helpful. The hotel was fully booked for the weekend and they only had one person on the front desk who did not show up for 10 minutes after I got there. We were not given to rooms next to each other even though we had booked two rooms together. There was one room between us. The positive is our rooms, on the first floor, were right next to an exterior door so my parents did not have to walk far and that was not something I had asked for. Our room for my children and myself smelled of smoke, not new smoke old smoke. I have to rewash our clothing to get the smell out. The beds were uncomfortable, but serviceable I tried to open the window to get rid of the smoke smell, but it was jammed shut. We turned on the air to help circulate some, and it smelled even worse was loud sounded like a Mac truck coming through the wall. When my daughter went to put her backpack in the shelving on the closet. It fell down almost immediately. I think it advertised free breakfast which was grab and go limit of two items a Nutri-Grain bar and a grainy muffin. They did also have oatmeal, but I’m not a fan of oatmeal to begin with.

There was hair on every piece of linen provided. I went to ask for fresh sheets to change them myself and they still had hair on it. Smelled unclean and was unclean on all the furniture. I recleaned the room myself and there was so much dirt it was unbelievable. It was only 2 nights so i suffered and slept on my clean clothes just so i didnt have to touch the bed. I generally dont even care about a little dust here and there but this was too much nastiness as if they dont care enough to properly clean the rooms.

This “hotel” shouldn’t even be on Expedia’s list for travelers. When we arrived, police were there to assist in an eviction of a tenant. When we checked into our room we found a kitchen with no dish or glassware—that needed to be ordered separately. While the exterior looks fine, the interior of the building including common areas and the room was badly in need of renovation. So, after a few minutes we checked out. Hopefully we will get our refund.

Expedia needs to fix their review process. This property was in the 8 range which is impossible. The property is run down, there was black mold looking areas around the window, trash under the bread and the tub was very stained.

This hotel is located in a nice area but is filled with permanent residents, not hotel guests. I traveled solo and the only bed available for my room was a rollaway. Very strong odor of mold throughout. Extended Stays are usually quite nice but this was Section 8 housing.
