Went to my room and I found a dirty soap with hair in my room. When I asked to get more towels, I was told to come to the front desk to receive the towels. The receptionist was on her phone not caring for anything around her. Service was terrible. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Also was unfortunately surprised to find I had to pay to park, unprofessional .

A disappointing stay at the Hyatt Place Richmond.

It is unfortunate that I can not give a very good review of Hyatt Place Richmond/ Arboretum. From the front sliding door that squeals as it opens and closes, to the ugs that appear as if it been far to long since it's last shampoo. At first my room 504 appeared clean until I spent more time there with the lights on and then I started to noticed what was and wasn't cleaned or dusted. The switch on the bedside light did not work. So I had to unplug it. The pressure of the shower was non-existant. In other words, if you don’t stand directly under the shower head, you woukd not get wet. I was there for four night and no one ever came into my room to make tge bed, change the sheets or empty the trash. As building policy posted in the elevator. Now for the breafast. Nope, don't do it. The sausage, and eggs are very well over cooked. You're better off eating somewhere else, as I did.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times for swim meets. The staff is very friendly and polite. The rooms are clean and nice. The only suggestion I have is the morning breakfast. Maybe have two people help in the morning. That's a lot for one person.

Winter weather stay

Not a bad trip. Only weird issue I experienced was paying for on property parking per night per vehicle. $9 is quite a bit per vehicle per night when you are staying multiple nights. Bed covering has hair but nothing I couldn’t swipe off and away. Breakfast was just ok. I wasn’t hungry. Staff was nice and kind. Building was big.

Was absolutely terrible. Took me 40 minutes to check In because of my name on the booking. It was a simple fix but it was demeaning. Had to threaten to call the police because I thought I was being profiled.

The breakfast was excellent. I had an issue with flooding in my room due to rain, but was immediately offer another, which was good, but an inconvenience for me since we were checking out the next morning. The front desk was very helpful and assisted me with all my concerns during check out.
