The staff (and most of VA) was very polite and friendly. The ac was much appreciated. The room was clean. The property was clean. Wifi was decent. There is an adorable cat on property who took a nap in our room for a little bit and hung out with us. She is black & white and kind of looks like the framed photo of Edgar Allan Poe in the lobby. The courtyard especially the fountain is very charming. Bugs were really loud and the age of the architecture made for slightly uneven floors and door frames, but didn’t take away from the experience too much. Would definitely stay there again!

Lovely old place with old charm. Comfortable room and spacious bathroom. Super clean. Nice beds and bedding. Easy walk to nearby restaurants. We’ve stayed before and will stay again as a stop on our route. Parking is on street or in a garage a block away.

Great place! Very charming and close to everything

We were only in town for a few days but we absolutely loved our stay at the Linden Row Inn! We interacted the most with the night attendant (I think her name was Jade) and she was very friendly and informative. She gave us a lot of recommendations for food and things to do in the area. The gentleman working when we checked on was also very friendly! Even the maintenance crew was nice. The hotel has so much rustic charm but doesn't feel dingey or musty. It is a beautiful space, the rooms are extremely spacious, and the courtyard area is wonderful! We were traveling with our 15-Month-old son and he had a great time running around the courtyard and had plenty of space to play and explore in the room. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area! It was also really nice to be so close to restaurants and markets.

Amazing location! Can walk to many wonderful restaurants. La Grotta was outstanding for Italian. Stella’s grocery offers excellent wine options, delicious sandwiches and desserts. Tj’s in the Jefferson hotel a great option for breakfast. The true gems of staying here are the staff! Every single front desk staff was so kind and helpful. I must single out Annabelle the resident cat too. Best hostess in rva and so polite. The hotel is quaint and quiet and clean. I love escaping the suburbs and enjoying some time in the city.
