Staff 99% incredible! From desk to server, with valets amazing except one which is extremely high!! Servers went out of way after exhausting day! I wish I got everyone’s names. I wake up during night, then go outside , I felt safe with the valet staff! Bummed that we were told 2 Queen beds several times and website, yet they are only doubles.

The room was beautiful and very clean. All staff have been so helpful & accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. The only con is the parking. You have to valet because the lot is so tiny.

We had a wonderful stay at The Commonwealth! Our Queen Suite was very clean and the staff was very accommodating! The location is very convenient to many great restaurants in downtown Richmond. I will definitely stay here again on a future visit.

The valet, Eric, was amazing and very knowledgeable! Always had a smile on his face and was great to talk with. The bartender was also very friendly! Room was nice and spacious.

Great place great valet questionable housekeeping

For the most this place was great, the valet was friendly helpful and welcoming. Some of the front desk were too. The room large and modern and had a safe and valet. Sadly for the one day I was there, my room was not made and the towels not replaced. As Id been out all day I only found out after a night on the town. I discussed this with front desk on checkout and they were respectful re the situation and mentioned to followup on this. Im happy to give it the benefit that it was an oversight as the front desk were very apologetic and surprised. Overall this was a blip on a great place that tbh I would come back to next time Im in Richmond.

OK but I'd stay elsewhere

The suite was very large but sparsely appointed and had only two small windows. Bathroom again was huge but no tub, very minimally appointed. There was a coffee maker but no coffee cups. I tried to get a quick coffee to go downstairs at the bar, and the lady behind the counter told me she was busy and if I was in a hurry I could walk down the street and find a cafe. There does not appear to be room service or the other sorts of amenities that one would expect in a business hotel.
